It seems there is a package for isdos for this matter, I’ll have to look .
If I find it, I’ll post it tomorrow ..

There are several connectors. The oldest one does not count CRC and cannot even understand
service lines; everything between begin and end is perceived as a solid
array.
Newer ones understand (and skip) phrases like “section n of m...”, and look
at the CRC, if it doesn’t match, they swear.

SC> Try to make the Yuik something else.

if there is only one section, write it at the beginning

section 1 of file xxx.x

if there are more, then you need to write this whole thing in each section
and you also need to correct the letters themselves at the end

Can you climb through hard-core partitions from isdos? I did something that knows how to do this. Something like a driver-translator. It works on ROM 4.0, on 4.1 it seems to be buggy for someone. And all sorts of staring games (on button 3), I remember I looked at ZXZIP archives, PCX small ones, something else... and a lot of things. Even the STS
was altered so that it could start from exhaustion. All this remains just like that. I remember I did
something
like ZED under arrest, but howThe chest appeared - and it lies there unfinished...

VK>> I remember I did something like ZED under isdos, and when Larka appeared, so
VK>> lies unfinished...
SC> Or maybe it’s worth finishing it? IS-Dos + HDD can be used well.

I picked up the files and began to remember... A beautiful spreading shell and a
reader are ready. What is the laziest thing for me to do is the editor... The biggest hemorrhoids.
You can, of course, use an external one. Like quoting a letter, adding a greeting/farewell at the top/bottom, unloading it and swapping it to a disk with the command line to an external editor...
You can take a ready-made one from ZED, but it doesn’t know how to work with canned memory -
that means you won’t write a big letter.

But you want to finish writing. The format of the base has been thought out, there are the first sketches of the tosser. The database
will be somewhat similar to JAM.
In the JAM database, each echo occupies 4 files.

real.jhr here are the headers and kludges of messages back-to-back
real.jdt here are the messages themselves, also back-to-back
real.jdx here are the indexes for them (offsets from the beginning)
real.jlr here is one index - for the current message

In MS-DOS, all echoes are stored in one directory, in IS-DOS needs to scatter them across
different - a limit of 128 files will give a limit of 32 echoes.

No, that’s not convenient!

Oh my! Finish it! Objections will not be accepted!

help you, since this matter is very necessary!

But there will be such an opportunity. It's too easy not to do it. Restart

Now I started thinking about how to purify and defragment the database. JAM is not MSG for you. You need to cut N blocks from the middle and then move the tail. You can
make it less slow, but it will no longer be JAM.

Ring. They are deleted only at the end, added only at the beginning
in the middle the deleted flag is checked (overwritten with zeros for the paranoid).
The file size is fixed and _not_ _fragmented_. If you want to store
old messages, then the user must copy them to another file.
For soap and small echoes, you can use something like *.msg.
Store everything only in text, without binary codes (for processing by other isdo
programs).

Jam and Squish will not work - they often change size and
fragmentation.
Look at the PC in the disk drive, how many segments does yours have? messagobase.
