A very real idea, you just need to use the BatProc v1.x program (by KVA & Diamond Group), configure work for yourself and everything is OK. You launch
you are listed as a robot, it downloads all the mail, then from there it launches
AutoZXUnZiper (by Brom :) ), which unpacks the downloaded mail, after
unpacking it launches Lara, which (if CMOS is available) immediately toss
mail, in the absence of it you you will have to enter the date. That's all for you, almost
full automation !!!!
But about pkunziper, you need to contact the author, let, for example,
share the source code. In fact, in Minsk we rarely use pkunzip,
that’s why I don’t have a great desire to make AutoPKUnziper.

Imho, this format is not a threat to Spectrum. There, the image is compressed in several passes - 128k is not enough to open a picture the size of a Spectrum screen - because each subsequent compression pass is based on what was in the previous raster. Roughly speaking,

Well then, I can suggest porting xpdf (opensource) to the Spectrum...

There is a utility:

pdftotext(1) pdftotext(1)

NAME
pdftotext - Portable Document Format (PDF) to text converter (version
0.90)

SYNOPSIS
pdftotext [options] [PDF-file [text-file]]

DESCRIPTION
Pdftotext converts Portable Document Format (PDF) files to plain text.

Pdftotext reads the PDF file, PDF-file, and writes a text file,
text-file. If
text-file is not specified, pdftotext converts file.pdf to file.txt. If
text-file
is ⌠-', the text is sent to stdout.

Raw files take up a megabyte... The binary is 200kb...

Probably won’t fit on the Spectrum.
