Khayushki, All !
People, help with software. I soldered a modem to my Speccy, but Melon doesn’t want to work with it as a mailer, only as a terminal. My mail is downloaded by one kind person
(he has a PC), and then I take it from him using terminal :-(
If anyone has any software besides melon 1.79a and Int termenal
(beta), then throw it in plz 8-)
The modem is connected according to the Shepelev scheme, but with interruptions Int.
Bye...
See you again, Speccyfan.

Connect the modem according to Kondratieff scheme, and take Melon 1.90.
Sincerely, Evgeniy.

EP> Connect the modem using the Kondratiev scheme, and take Melon 1.90.
I can’t because... Kondratyev uses NMI to process modem interruptions, and
I have Baltic and it has an NMI handler for the disk monitor, this is something like Scorpio's shadow machine. By pressing the button, a non-maskable
interruption occurs and the handler switches the ROM to the shadow RAM (in which the disk
monitor is loaded), the screen switches from #4000 to #2000 in general the screen and the memory does not deteriorate and you can change there what you want and then you can exit and everything will be fine work again, here. I’ll tell you a useful thing :)
And in general, the scheme has nothing to do with it, because I can download anything with Melon (as a terminal), it’s just some kind of software glitch.
I was advised melon 1.80, and how is 1.90 different?

RTFM!
Melon does not use NMI. And I didn’t connect NMI - it worked...
YK> They advised me here melon 1.80, but how is 1.90 different?
There are fewer glitches...
You need 512 memory via 7FFD, but it seems to work at 128, only
the log can’t be enabled.
Regards, Evgeniy.

What software does the boss use?
Maybe there’s some kind of glitch with EMSI?

I have just 512 via 7ffd :)
if it’s not difficult, then send it to me plz. :)
Bye.

VK> Maybe there is some kind of rake with EMSI?
Since we are already talking about this, I will also say it. I have a modem based on the Kondratiev scheme from
Oberon#4. But Melon 1.79 doesn't want to work with my boss. It connected, and then
it said EMSI error or failed, something like this... And it started to say this
only with my second modem, and the first one, which was working with a bang. I
heard that Melon processes modem messages not by error codes, but by the entire
text message... If these messages are slightly different from the most
common ones, then Melon will work crookedly or even freeze. That's how things are. By the way, NAMv0.2x work great. These are some interesting things. :)
By the way! Now I just tried Melon 1.90 and it works with my boss. :) These are the kinds of things that happen in the Milon world. ;)

It depends on you. On the contrary, I'm so sick of my glitch. v1.80+
it works better for me. In any case, Melon
doesn’t fit with Argus nodes...

The same can be said about Melon 1.80+
Good bye.

VK> What software does the boss use?
The boss uses Radius 4.00/final
VK> Maybe there is some kind of rake with EMSI?
It is with EMSI, it shuts up on EMSI_DAT and that’s it, makes three attempts to drive this
EMSI_DAT, and then writes NO CARRIER and that’s it :~-(
But it’s not the telephone line or the circuit (imho).

The point is precisely in the melon, it is buggy with some soapers. There is a rake there with the reception
EMSI_DAT, namely with the end-of-line code. I won’t say more specifically now because
I got into it quite a long time ago.
Sincerely, Andrey Isaev.

Exactly. I’ll add a little digging for waiting #0d #0a and
excluding waiting #0d.

I don’t know, I climbed the melon, it doesn’t seem to be waiting for #0d #0a... True, I didn’t go into details
in particular. For those interested, I recommend studying the code section from #b073 to
#b0a1.
Because EMSI_DAT coming from the node does not play, IMHO, a special role,
ent check can be disabled altogether by replacing jr z,#b0a2 at address #b095 with jr
#b0a2.
Good bye.
P.S. All of the above is true for version 1.80+
