From Maxim Popov To All 13 April 1999

Greetings, All!

So this is how things work out. A friend brings me the MFM subject and furiously
proves that the scheme from Formata 8 does not work for him.
So maybe someone can help in any way they can? :)

The circuit from ZxFormata 8 is designed only for IDE hard drives. I have never
found information about anyone connecting an MFM HDD.

A very long time ago, Iskrasoft (which Isdos copyrighted) sold
a device for connecting MFM coffins to the Spectrum and you could use
them in Isdos later. The fee is not large and without any PLM. I don’t know anything else
, except that there is another development with the ability
to work in TR-DOS with pseudo-floppy disks of different formats.

There were advertisements in magazines that someone had made such a controller. He was one of
the first.

With respect, Alex from FFC COMPUTERS.
