Where and how to buy discs? (fwd)

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrij M. Stegnitskiy To All 10 August 1998

Greetings!
This is my problem.
We have lost blank discs in Lviv.
Advise me where I can buy them.
Can someone send them by mail?
Write where and what are the prices for blank discs.
Regards Andrey.

Switch to 3.5" - you can still get them. :-)
3.5" HD disks are perfectly formatted like DD if you seal the hole...

I highly recommend 3.5 floppy disks, because it rules! :)
Ksta, buy Verbatim (teflon),
since I’m a fan myself! :). :)))))))))

And on 5.25 you have to make archives manually (IMHO)

Like this...

And when it (the screw) has already been covered with this archive twice, then
where is the best place to make archives? ;)

From Igor Gruzdev To All 16 August 1998

To lose it all one rainy day? (I, however, haven’t dealt with a crashed screw yet (pah-pah-pah), but it’s not for nothing that they recommend storing everything valuable
in a more reliable place (Arvid-CD-disk-streamer, etc.)

With all sorts of regards and wishes.
Igor.
