From Vlad Sotnikov To All 9 January 2005

Hello, Ivan!

No, that’s understandable. I could probably ask this question too. My
letter was a spontaneous reaction - agree, it’s strange when you see an answer to a question addressed to you and realize that you’ve never asked this question :)

Personification is very important. After all, here, in this virtual
space, an opinion about a certain person is formed not only due to his
letters of reflection, but also due to the questions asked. Isn't that so?

Well, off I go...

Hi, Kirill!

AR>> make a “RUSSIAN home computer, successor to the work of ZX-a,BK,PK”?

And who is interested in it? Or maybe there is an OS that supports this? (again, for
what purpose?) As practice shows, this thing is programmed at the start and
there is no longer a need to change anything.

Regards.

From Eugene Sobolev To All 10 January 2005

Dear, Vlad!

VS> Personification is very important. After all, here, in this virtual

VS> so?

Not so. In this very space, it’s a stone’s throw from Sotnikov to Mak,
and from Sobolev to Sotnikov you can generally throw a bottle.

Personification is when your person has a certain identifier
drawn on his forehead. Well, like a barcode there. You come to the stall, the scanner hits you on the forehead like that - it’s blazing, and everything is clear. This person: Vlad Sotnikov.
And no questions. However, if there is no barcode on the forehead, then there are no questions either - it’s clear why you came? Hence the conclusion: regardless
of the questions being asked, your persona
is predetermined by the very fact of appearing in one place or another.

There is indirect evidence: the fact of frequently writing letters to
the REAL.SPECCY conference suggests that you are a Sinclairist.
Naked statistics! And no one is interested anymore in what exactly you
write there - everything is clear... And asking questions is
for those who don’t understand SO!

But it’s not interesting.

:-) It's better not to throw bottles around, they (or rather, their contents) are a
useful thing...

Well, here we were rather talking about the personification of the question (more precisely, its
belonging to one or another person). And in a certain place the person FK0 was presented, although nominated by my name. Hence the logical error...

I don’t write in real-life specs that often. As a matter of fact, the traffic here is not very great. But at the same time, I still remain a spektrumist. Besides, maybe no one is interested in what I write, but I am interested in what they answer me. And it’s really interesting when they answer questions that I didn’t ask :) Besides, the question
could have been lame. I understand that I would still remain a Spectrumist. But...
