Stanislav Udin ==========> Pawel Kislyak:
OG>>> I agree. Of course, I am not a supporter of catalogues, because IMHO,
OG>>> they are not needed. But support for DirSys from RC will be a big step forward.
OG>>> A lot of people use this command, and adding something else
OG>>> is just lazy.
PK>> Theoretically, creating a DirSys support module is quite possible,
PK>> and you won’t have to rewrite the procedures
PK>> copying/compacting.
SU> How do you not have to redo the procedures
SU> copying/compacting?
Intercept RDCAT, WRCAT and keep track of which directories
you need to push files into. After all, the file system
in the subject does not change, it’s just that additional sectors
store information about sorting files into directories.
You really have to store copies of both directories. There are, of course, many more nuances, but all of them can be solved.
SU> What to do with memory? You yourself said that it
SU> is not enough for this task.
You reserve a bank for the module and all that.
PK>> In general, if there is anyone who wants to write such a module, write.
SU> What do you need for this?
ASM+STS+rcwork.hrp+desire ;)
Bye!
