Once Thu 1 Apr 1999 at 22:28:19, while wiping dust from the monitor, I noticed how
Michael Kondratyev was arguing with Leonid Mishankov on the topic of Dickie troubles and I decided
to join the bazaar:
Now, when receiving _each_ block, it is written:
Data CRC Error
How is this eliminate?
Sincerily yours,LEO/SG.

- by shortening the cable, buffering, etc (see softfelix tips)
- by selecting the port speed??
- by replacing the modem?
Bye, Michael.

I have the same thing, but it’s true that my friend found an interesting feature if you gradually
reduce SPEED LOCK from 9600 to 1200 you can find the optimal speed for your modem
only if it doesn’t help then that’s it:((((((
LM>> How to fix this?
See one of the methods above
KF> Maybe changing the modem to a higher one another?
Yeah, you would suggest everyone change their modems:)
p.s. By the way, this feature didn’t help me, but it helped my friend even though the modems
were the same:%
From the bottom of my heart Ciao, Kirill.

Everything seems to be fine there.
MK> - by selecting the port speed??
He has 16450 in his modem, it seems to be up to 38400 allows...
MK> - by replacing the modem?
The modem on the PC works fine, with Melon too...
IMHO we need to look for the reason. What if he buys himself a new modem for about 50 bucks, with
a similar problem? Then he goes to buy a modem and a PC.
All the best.
Sincerely, Roman.

And not 19200?

for everything below 16550a I would not recommend more than 9600

What about moneyback?
Bye, Michael.
