No, I’m talking about the fact that “there were no glitches” and “there were glitches.” There are no programs without glitches, and writers never write everything correctly.... ;) By the way, what do you like about Xivs? Is there really something incomprehensible in the subject? :)

Has a version older than 0.7a been released? otherwise I’m already fed up with the glitches of the zmodem (doesn’t want to
send long files) and hydra (doesn’t want to work in both directions).

KC> what do you mean by xivs? Is there really something incomprehensible in the subject? :)
Well, for example, it’s worth describing all the possible baubles of the event file, the keys that
can be pressed in the terminal and myler, and I still
didn’t fully understand some points of the setup itself.

Hmm...
Questions: are interruptions from the modem enabled? Is it working correctly?
What is the speed of the coma? It was buggy for me on 19200, it worked on 38400, but in Melon on
38400 - bytes are terribly lost... :)
But there is no older version. Mikhail is silent.

interruptions.

Your modem is probably at 2400 or something like that. What Melon shows in the top panel is the port locking speed.
Do not confuse the port locking speed with the line speed. If
you had a 14400 modem, then at a loading speed of 57600 the symbols
would be very messy. With a connection of 14400, the optimal lock is
19200 (with the turbo turned on). This is if you work with BBS.
And if you use protocols or a soaper, you can lock it to 38400 - everything
will be OK.
Good Bye, Eudgine Palenock!

Why is everyone trying to prove to me that the spec won’t even handle 14400?!
Do you really think that I don’t know what modem I have? 2400 or 14400?!
I have an internal modem USRobotics Sportster No.276, 14400, P'n'P.
Connected according to the Kondratiev scheme, but NMI is disabled - P'n'P-modems
have a different algorithm, and terminals with NMI (type S-Terminal) after the first
initialization of the port hang.
And my port works stably at all speeds, from 1200 to 57600,
except 14400 - because... this is a non-standard speed of the _port_
But one person I know with Scorpio, indeed, even in turbo
the port speed is only up to 19200 - but he has a modem on SMUC

there is “mk” or “mki” in the name - "i" = interupt (or whatever it is) interrupts.

IMHO, as far as I know, he himself SMUC slows down communication somewhat. There
modem ports are located in the address space of TR-DOS ports.
Good luck! Evgeny.

I don’t know what will hang and what won’t. Just get the idea of attaching modem interrupts to NMI out of your head. I have never seen a more crap
solution. Hang on INT and ALL! First
disable interrupts from ULA in software.
It works without problems - tested.
