After reading the empty flame in ZX.SPECTRUM, I propose to open such a topic here (those who are not interested or who are engaged in the above nonsense
please do not worry). Interested in the following things:
1. how do you feel about the current state of affairs at the demoscene?
2. What do you expect from the scene this year, in terms of new ideas, new technologies,
quality?
If there are any questions in terms of the topic, I will try to answer them.

done anything yet
and it’s too early to say, however, before the party it will still not be known how much
there will be work, but according to my estimates, no less than 5.

Imho, it would be cool if at least 5 works. It will be even cooler if their weight categories are approximately the same. However, I would like to see the battle.

btw, about detroyt: somehow unfinished and too short :) it would be a little longer,
20-30 seconds and a little more dynamic with such music... but the impressions are

and I have nothing to do with detroYt, unless observant. in fact, everything is finished and that’s how it should be. my attitude is much less positive,
since before my eyes almost the entire demo (action effects) was done in
lightwave.

there are reasons:
1) maybe we’re already exhausted. there’s no reason to leave with a job that the viewer
is disgusted to look at.
2) now Lesha and I have diplomas, everything seems a little purple for us until we pass them :)
3) and there is also work that takes a lot of time, effort and creative thoughts,
oddly enough.
4) all these are excuses :) the main reason is laziness and lack of ideas in the head. :)) as a rule, after you've worked for 14 hours, looking at this monique, there's no desire to do anything... but it's too early to bury us, there are other platforms :)
