Somehow I’m completely behind the times...
So.. Can you please tell me, gentlemen, whether the subject limitation (1 color per 1
familiar place) has been removed in which Spectrum clone?
And in terms of the number of colors?
I would be terribly grateful! :)
Sincerely, Vladimir.

Since 1982, all specs have had 2 colors per place!
VS> And by the number of colors?
GMX, Sprinter, TURBO-2+, PROFI, homemade modifications...

The same. 256 colors, 2 colors per 1 byte of the screen.

Br... Scary. :)

SZ> Yeah. On Profi, for example, and GMX there are extended screens.
And if you are not lazy and solder another KP-shku to the 512x192 circuit, then an expanded
color aka multicolor will appear on many other cars.
But everyone has not needed this for 3 years already :(
PS: Hello everyone! Like me with the letters “H”, “r” - "H","p"?
Bye, Sergey!

and where will the colors come from??
AA> PS: Hello everyone! How is it with the letters “H”,”p” - “H”,”p”?
yes, okay

Why exactly 3?
AA> PS: Hello everyone! How is it with the letters “H”, “r” - “H”, “p”?
normal.

The circuits appeared practically at the same time, but the second for some reason practically
no one knows (/need?)

In fact, the “attribute per byte” does not depend on the presence of 512x192, they only have
the C29 driver in common
And they don’t need a CPshka, look how simple the scheme is:
_____
eff7 bit 0 ---|<--,
c29 in (9/D15)-|<-+---> c29 out (3/D8 only)
|
▒
|
v+5
eff7 bit 0 ---|<--,
c29 in (9/D15)-|<-+---> a13v (11/D17)
|
▒
|
v+5
eff7 bit 0 --->|--,
c30 in (8/D15)->|-+---> c30 out (1/D14 only)
|
_ GND
If I’m not confused, then it was like this before Vovkin’s intervention ;(
