COM port on ZX-Spectrum

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Felix Knajzev To All 6 September 2000

Greetings, Kirill!

Knajzev.
They discussed the topic “COM port on the ZX-Spectrum”. Let's continue what we started...

This is where the shamanism begins. Usually it's only the RD that has problems. For VI53 you even
have to play with the supply voltage (+5V).

By It is fully compatible with RS232 input-output; it is not used in bourgeois offtopics because of the significant difference in programming from other UARTs.

KF> Multikarta is cheaper.

It has higher efficiency. :) From connection to use. But in fact, if you don’t
chase speed and have an easily programmable MS UART, then BB51 will do.

Sincerely, Felix.
