CMOS in Scorpa

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrey Isaev To All 12 December 1998

Greetings, Dmitry

Somehow on 09 Dec 98 at 04:23:09 there was a conflict
Dmitry Sharikov and Andrey Isaev were arguing about CMOS in Scorpa
I decided to continue this dialogue:

AI>> Under CMOS, the current is not Smukovsky! or are you in St. Petersburg naively
AI>> believing that only Smukov’s cmos exists? ;)
DS> But no... that's why I asked.
Under some hybrid of a Finnish clock and a glitched one :) by simply replacing the port addresses
you can substitute it for a glitched clock, but my clock runs in the binary
system.

Andrey was with you.

Hello, Andrey!

12 Dec 98 at 18:55:06, Andrey Isaev => Dmitry Sharikov:

AI> can be substituted for a glitched clock, but my clock runs according to the binary
AI> system.

And that’s correct. In scorpion also in binary.

ps\
And when will there be a new/glitch-free unzip?
Unpack a group of archives there, please!
And remove reading from #FE in the loop there, please! Or add HALT to the loop, I saw
it’s easy to do there. Otherwise I’ll go fix it myself ;-EEE~~~
Because it slows down on white controllers of xt/at keyboards. I'm still lucky, I have a successful copy. And I have friends who growl angrily and howl like a wolf because of your unzip
and threaten to blame the PC, arguing that the software on ZX is crooked and the crooked coders who wrote it are crooked.

Just for example in a construction like:

LD BC, #7FFE
M1 IN A, (C)
RRA
JR C,M1

the bad i8031 throws so many whites onto the poor Z80 that sometimes it’s easier to turn the computer
off and on again than to wait until it sorts out these whites.

Just don’t grin maliciously, saying “that’s their problem,” and “this doesn’t happen on normal
computers.”
Normal programs from normal programmers are considered normal because they work on any hardware.

WBR, Jason.

Let's organize a party of lovers of binary numbers! ;)

VK> ps\
VK> When will there be a new/glitch-free unzip?
Are there any glitches? ;)

VK> Unpack a group of archives there, please!
We need to think about this issue :))

VK> And remove reading from #FE in the loop there, please! Or add HALT to the loop, I

I asked everyone to erase the source codes, and they are buggy :)

VK> Because it slows down on white controllers of xt/at keyboards.
I have never seen anything like this and have never heard of such glitches, so I can be forgiven.

VK> software on the ZX and the crookedness of the crooked coders who wrote it.
^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^ I never considered myself like that and
I never will!

VK> Just for example in a construction like:
VK> LD BC,#7FFE
VK> M1 IN A,(C)
VK> RRA
VK> JR C,M1
VK> the bad i8031 throws so many whites onto the poor Z80 that sometimes it’s easier to turn off the computer
VK> and turn it on again than to wait until it sorts out these whites.

And in this:
EI
M1 HALT
LD A,#7F
IN A,(#FE)
RRA
JRWill C,M1

work?

VK> Just don’t grin maliciously, saying “that’s their problem,” and “this doesn’t happen on

I won’t grin, although this doesn’t happen on normal computers :)

I was with you Andrey.

why do this :)... about the crookedness of the assemblers of terrible
controllers is somehow kept silent :)
they will release it tomorrow (although not anymore) will be released - there will be no one :) Fenku,
that when using a beeper he will start writing on a CD... :)
let's start about curvature again? :)
