CHV2

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrey Khoroshilov To All 12 December 1998

Greetings, Kirill!

There was nothing to do, and 04 Dec 98 at 07:41:35
Roman Petrov and Kirill Frolov
talked about “ChV2”
I saw this and decided to comment.

VM>>> I just threw a semi-finished demo of the subject into zx.spectrum.. V
VM>>> format .z80.. I hope the folk craftsmen will translate it into holes-dos :)
KF>> ~~~~~~~~~
KF>> You are the enemy of the Spectrum with a capital letter! Make a noise only for the emulsion and don’t
KF>> suffer.

How should this be understood!?! Why do you put emulsion above Real_Spec???!
If I work for Speckie, and everything will be for emulsion, then why bother writing programs
for emulsion, if they should actually be used for REAL SPECTRUM
And in general, emulators, etc. these are just "appendages" of the Spectrum.

RP> Kirill, did you get off on the wrong foot today? Okay, what are you doing there

For this, let me take my leave. Sincerely, Andrey Khoroshilov.

··· The mind is stronger than the chest. Hippies are people too.
··· What were you going to see there? Glass fabric? And thought from electrons?

Pentagon, by the way, is also an appendage of you know what... ;)

I wonder why you decided this?
If it comes to that, then most likely there is not a single REAL SPECY in the CIS.
Because. almost all spec. implemented on a domestic element base.
But still, I meant that the programs are written for the spec, and not for the emulator. That is,
an emulator - as a program must do everything possible to emulate SPEC, but
under no circumstances convert the program into another format.

Well, you understand exactly how not to do it. There have already been discussions about writing games online
for emulsions or for PCs already in zx.spectrum.

But why on the Spectrum .z80, .tap, .$ etc ??? To the garden.

AK> And in general, emulators, etc. these are just “appendages” of the Spectrum.

Alas, the opposite has long been true. Programs are made in an emulator and then
are also difficult to transfer to a real machine.

With best wishes, Kirill Frolov.

Because it is. Or do you prefer the word “variety”?

Has every right for ease of use.

Listen, why are you so obsessed with emulators??? Emuls help a lot in your work.
You see, it’s more convenient to write programs for the Spectrum on a PC, since the assembler is more
faster, and the editor there is much better. And to the real Spectrum, programs written in the emulator are transferred ABSOLUTELY without problems. Any emulsion still does not completely emulate the Spectrum, therefore the Spectrum is still better. In the case of NeOS, everything
works on a real Spectrum without any problems.

when they attack unreasonably...

Bye, Kirill! With the best wishes, Megus of Brainwave.

[ ] - discussion of emulators here is off-topic!

Good luck.

No, .$ need to! Headings are lost.
Although if you pack it, ZX-ZIP then yes.

But the echo is fidosh...
I’m warning you:-E! And everyone:
I will “reward” for posting files like .ZXZ in this echo!
Follow the rules!

All the best.
Roman.
