Now I took the liberty of delving a little into CD-WALK :-)
In general, if you skip the disk detection procedure (or rather exit after its
failure :)), then everything works with a bang! The only drawback after this is
that the CD model is not written, although I don’t know how it should be in reality
and everything works quite stably :-)
Now the actual reviews :) Well, now I’m just impressed by
everything I saw. Great! I didn't even expect this! Everything is very convenient and
thought out. I'm delighted! Only now we need to fix the glitch with CD detection:)
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to check out the work of the program with trd-images, since
there were no disks with unpacked trds:(
Now there are some wishes. The first wish that arose immediately in
in connection with the specifics of the information on one of the disks:) is to work with MODs through
GS. I would also like to see the ability to switch partitions on the screw... Well and
a lot more :) For example, working with SCL, ZIP, etc...
ps/ Thanks again for the rule program!
I wish you good luck!
Sincerely, Fyodor Odegov aka FION.

Hmm... If you skipped the detection, then, probably, through the shadow. Do a good deed, soap me that part of the code that determines the absence of a CD. There, my detection is based on many parameters, I wonder which one is buggy. And the fact
that you didn’t write the name of the CD is natural, it is determined
in the detection subprogram that you just boiled :)

There’s a complete steering wheel there too! :) In general, thank you for the kind words, it’s nice
to hear that someone appreciated your work. This happens quite rarely...

Mods through GS - I will do it in the next versions. I will support SCL, you just need a file format descriptor. Perhaps I’ll support zip, since Sergey Zotov shared
with me a description of the format, now I’m studying it little by little...
FO> ps/ Thanks again for the cool program!
No problem - a couple of trifles :)

It’s just that for many the CD detection did not pass;)

I'm really looking forward to it!

I'll try to search.
In general, scl would be very convenient, IMHO, since if you make a selection of programs
for spec on cd, then this format is the most acceptable for small programs. That is, if you store everything in TRD, then its size is fixed (640Kb), in the host
the file order will be lost, but scl does not have these shortcomings :)

For PCs, but not for ZX - in order to process the SCL file, it must be read
in its entirety (the control code is at the end).
FO> That is, if you store everything in TRD, then its size is fixed (640Kb),
Nothing is fixed there. There are trimmed TRDs. Only here there is also
a drawback - 16 sectors with the catalog must always be stored, but there it is mostly
empty...

We must, in short, see what kind of bird this is - SCL. And a catalog can be created... In general, today, when we meet, I’ll ask you in more detail :)
