CC001 - last minute trip
Unfortunately, as you probably already heard, the demo party CC001, which
was planned to be held in St. Petersburg on August 18-19, is in danger of being cancelled. I
now will not expand on the reasons or start sniveling about
who is to blame and who should be criticized.
Nevertheless, all possibilities for holding the rally exist: a preliminary agreement has been reached with officials regarding the premises and
schedule. I will publish this data soon. I can immediately
say that the regulations are very different from the previous one: 2 days are allotted for preparation, plus two days for the event itself.
Now the question is fundamental - there is still a chance to still hold a party, but for
this all interested parties need to urgently organize. Basically, the issue is selfish, read - money. To hold an event you need money (payment of
rent, security, equipment, transport, prizes, etc.). Unfortunately, at this stage I have no access to any sponsors. And although all the money can be returned
through the sale of tickets, you must already have it (the money)now, and unfortunately I
don’t have the necessary amount.
Of course, in the near future I will call some organizations that can
act as sponsors, but if you can offer any help now,
please write to me at bigb...@mail.lanck.net.
And another request - the possibility of holding a party directly will depend on your
activity. I won’t do this if no one needs it (although I’m an altruist, but not that much :) Therefore, don’t be lazy and go to the polls I’ve organized, I really need to know the answers to them to solve problems. And
once again: write to me everything that comes to mind - ideas, advice, etc.
