Hello, Alexander!

Explain why you chose this particular port and this particular bit.
And why “as the highest address”? Maybe it’s better to use it as a
permission to use bit 4 #7FFD as the high address?
After all, some may use a 32K microdrive as a cache, but there is no port
#EFF7 and they are too lazy to do so. It will be enough for him to set the high
address to bit 4 #7FFD through a toggle switch and it will be 32K if turned on.
All the best.
Sincerely Roman.

Are there similar m/s at 64K? After all, then it will be possible to
emulate all ROMs...
With respect, Evgeniy aka EVP.

Namely, why does the quota break? Is the line longer than the standard?
I saw such a glitch from writers on the internet, it’s because of the software settings.

Yes, both 64K and 128K exist.
Only they have 32 legs. And sometimes in a narrow body. :( It’s better to solder another 62256
on top. And they cost much more.
Why do you need to emulate the ENTIRE ROM? Well, one or two pages is enough, the rest is
standard ROM.
Although if you emulate the entire ROM, you can throw out 27512 altogether. Put 2764,
which will be when you turn on the computer calculate the checksum of 62512, and
reboot it from the disk, if there is something there.
And testing the computer can be shoved into this ROM.
