People, pls post the last subject (not if anyone is involved in the subject,
or else or something else). And then,
I found something so gnawed and slow, in general, it’s good for
metro programs...

Best regards, Alexey Zinoviev AKA -=ZAV=-

It won’t work - there are a lot of glitches. You should go to CP/M, everything
looks much better there...

Where can you get it in 5020?

AZ> Where can you get it in 5020?

CP/M? KLUG aka Michael Markowsky.

What kind of computer do you have?

No TR-DOS ;)

KF> What kind of computer do you have?

Until now it was Pro 2+, 5.03.
But the other day KAI bought it.

How bad it is... Kai of course claims to be the most glitch-free
Spectrum, but Pro is clearly better. At least because of the graphic screen and the ability to set cp/m normally. And 12Mhz is more than 7.

And only Skoppovskaya’s will work for CP/M. Well, it only gets worse from there --
MOA is extremely slow and there is not enough memory. And what I did requires
reworking the disk driver and screen driver. If you need CP/M -
look for a normal BDOS from a robot and write the BIOS yourself...

I agree.

I agree with this, only in SR/M mode. Yes, and I’m not going to throw it away.

KF> At least because of

Yes.

Well, actually, I don’t see much of a difference
ZYZH Why can’t you do 12 on KAI? ?!

I have an old Robotron mother
with ROM and everything else :))) It seems like even
is working...

Eeeee... I didn’t really understand. Why do I need SR/M?!

From Igor Krauklis To All 13 November 1999

So it depends on how hard it is. Let's say, if the ROM is 5.03, but you need, for example, 5.4T?

Glitch-free? Don’t tell me... True, the new KAI (1024) is very, very poor... The 24-hour station worked on it for about a year until the scorpion with the propeller was installed. But the old kai (256) are far from working.

Then there is a Sprinter for 21... Or a multiplier for a lot. We must proceed from what
is, and not what could be staged...

Frequency 21. And productivity 250..300%

Shalaevsky overtakes the sprinter at maximum speed.

What are you even talking about? The pro actually has 12Mhz.

I have never had a kai and, I hope, not there will be. I know at least 5 people who had a kai, and on which they fought a lot.
Lah, let's leave it at that...

From Kirill Frolov To All 19 November 1999

IK> Have you seen at least one scorpion with typical Kai glitches?

And what are the typical glitches? No one
solders capacitors to the board, the turbo mode is not turned off, nothing is reset, in tr-dos
the turbo is also turned off, the printer port is crooked, but better than in Scorpe
made...

And now I’m sitting and the resistors in Scorpe are from 100 ohm to 1.5 ohm I'm resoldering...
They set it up, and then it's not even clear where the glitches came from.

Let's finish the topic - it will be over soon bleeding...

ANY SPEC IS GOOD!

And where?

And TR-DOS was in Robik, but the heads of the drives were twitching,
it couldn’t have been otherwise. There is no point in proving the opposite.
Find zx-review, spectrofon, zx-format and read...

It won't work. One platform :-)

This is not a swear word.

Ah! Are you talking about the bug that if you load a pack of blocks through #3d13, C=5 (more than 64 sectors, apparently), then the head breaks off, rests on the chassis, and then reads again?
If you're talking about this, yes, there is such a bug even in 5.04. And the spectrophone says
how to programmatically treat it. (load in small portions)
