Hello, All!
On page 12 of ZX REVIEW 9 (1996) we read: DA0/DA7 - data/address bus with
three states. In data mode, DA0-DA7 correspond to bits B0-B7
of the generator register area. In address mode, DA0-DA3 set the number of the register to be selected (0-15), and DA4-DA7, in combination with address inputs A8 and A9, form the high part of the address. The subject area consists of 16 8-bit
words that are part of a total 1024-word memory. It is with the help of these
(meaning A8 and not A9) address buses that the addressing of the subject's memory is expanded from 256 to 1024 words.
Well, the actual question is: what kind of memory is this and can it be used?

p.s. information similar to this data is only available in ZX REVIEW; in other documents
that claim to be called manuals, there is nothing like that.
See you soon, All. jtn{a}mail.ru
