Hello, All!

Addition

It’s also worth adding that bit Port 0 #EFF7 is reserved
for another additional graphics mode - attribute per byte,
i.e. At addresses #4000-#57FF there is a standard Sinclair screen, and at addresses #6000-#77FF there is an attribute byte corresponding to each
byte from the main screen, and in this byte
bits have the same purposes as in standard attributes, with the
exception of bits 6 and 7, which are now responsible for PAPER BRIGHT and INK BRIGHT, respectively. The modification consists of one microcircuit - 1533KP11 and allows you to easily implement effects like MultiColor without spending a single processor cycle on it (except, of course, for placing information in the screen area).

The rationing of elements in the diagram is given relative to the pentagon diagram (by V.M.G.) and
may not coincide with your diagram. (address signals are numbered from A0 to A15).

Diodes - KD522

(output >──) send a signal from the output of the microcircuit that forms it;
(output <──) apply a new signal to the output, cutting off the old one.

Also on top of D38 you need to solder D38' (1533Р23) with all outputs
connected to D38, and connect the inputs to the corresponding outputs of D37.
a The 1st pins D38 and D38' are supplied with signals C3 and 2-D3, and the 11th pins
signals C29 and C3, respectively. Also, pins 9,12,15,16,19 of the chip
D40 must be connected to ground through 1k resistors.

Scheme is the same for both options, minor differences for the 'Yellow' board
are shown in parentheses.

PS: The multicolor scheme has not been personally tested (I don’t have Scorpio at hand yet), so
write about the glitches you find before I leave to trample my boots...

512x192 is turned on by setting bit 1 of port #EFF7 and turned off by RESET
or by resetting the same bit. After switching on, two areas are formed in the memory
#4000-#57FF - even bytes on the screen, and #6000-#77FF - odd bytes on the screen.
The second screen is addressed similarly (#C000-#C800 and #E000-#E800).

Multicolor is turned on by setting bit 0 of port #EFF7 and turned off by RESET
or resetting the same bit. After switching on, image bytes are stored in memory at addresses #4000-#57FF
and attribute bytes are stored at addresses #6000-#77FF, and
instead of Flash there will be brightness for Paper, and Bright will be brightness only for Ink.
The second screen is addressed similarly (#C000-#C800 and #E000-#E800).

For multicolor there are also byte-attribute pairs.
