A new AOH for the spectrum has been released in St. Petersburg, and here you are connecting some kind of chaos
incomprehensible
. Throw away this crap! Vicomm (XTR) modem 4ever! ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
This software product is
FREEWARE, i.e. is distributed to everyone under the condition that no changes will be made to the program. The author is not responsible for hacker versions. Commercial distribution is only
welcome! If you get this version, copy it to someone else! ;)))
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ New in version 1.1 ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
- When the handset is off-hook on a parallel
device, you can press the space bar and the program
will go into call waiting mode
- The time is not displayed continuously, but only
once per second. Previously there were brakes due to this
- You can change the color of the system, as well as
all menus
- Added trill test after loading
program, needed to control the volume of
amplifier
- Support for Kempston mause
has been implemented - Added “go to” item in the notebookto..."
- Added terminal mode
- Time is read not from a separate
overlay, but from the modem driver
- Fixed a glitch - sometimes when writing to an address book, the computer was reset
- In the main menu, added the item "restart AOH"
- When viewing outgoing and incoming
calls, you can call the current
number (key 'R')
- You can set the duration of the trill
- Added change in the number of polls
line for which the program detects short beeps
- Exiting the "call waiting" mode is now
not through a space, but through a fire
- When viewing incoming and outgoing
calls, you can use not only
arrows, but also control keys
- Changing the "Delay" parameters repeat" and "Key hold"
- No need to press any key after
loading all overlays
- Processes "*" characters when entering
search model and file name

▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
You can enable or disable the mouse through
MAIN MENU/SETTINGS/SYSTEM! There is no test for the mouse, so if you disconnected it
from the computer, you need to hold down the
K key when starting the program to turn it off. On the mouse, the left button is 'FIRE'.and
the right one is 'CANCEL'. This is how I will
denote them below in the description. With a mouse you
will get extra pleasure from
the program!
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Menu operation ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
Operation is carried out using a arrow
controlled by Q A O P SPACE, SINCLAIR I,
SINCLAIR II or Kempston mause. Entering
a menu item is done by pressing 'FIRE',
and if the arrow was outside the menu, then
you will exit it. You can also exit
with the 'CANCEL' button on the mouse.
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Notebook ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
This notebook contains 111 numbers, each of them can be blacklisted or whitelisted. When editing
a phone number, all characters are available, but
after entering, characters other than
"0"..."9" will be replaced with "-". When editing information about a phone, all symbols are also available, but they will not be replaced by
anything. Moving through the notebook can be done through the items
"forward", "back" and "go to...", as well as
if the search is successful. When you enter
this menu item, you will be asked for a model to
search. It can represent both a telephone number and information. Instead of"*"
will search for any character. Before clearing your address book, you will be asked about this.
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Viewing outgoing calls ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
When viewing outgoing calls, the following keys are in effect:
->, right or move the mouse to the right -
forward to the number
<-, left or move the mouse to the left - to-
back to the number
Enter, fire or 'CANCEL' on the mouse - exit
R or 'FIRE' on the mouse - call the
current number
If you have a watch, then
the time and date of the call will be shown.
▒▒▒▒▒▒ Viewing incoming calls ▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
When viewing incoming calls, the same keys operate as when viewing
outgoing calls. Also, if you have a
watch, the time and date
of the call will be shown. When the identified
number is found in the address book,
information about the owner of the number will be displayed, as well as
whether it is included in any list...
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Setting the system color ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
The system color is set
via MAIN MENU/SETTINGS/SYSTEM. You
will be prompted to enter the color of paper, ink,
border, as well as brightness (1-is, 0-not).
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Setting menu colors▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
You can get here through the MAIN MENU/SETTINGS/SYSTEM. A menu will be displayed on the screen, as well as its current color.
The keys used here are:
->, right or move the mouse to the right -
go to the next menu
<-, left or move the mouse to the left - go to the previous menu
fire or 'CANCEL' on the mouse - exit
Enter or 'FIRE' on the mouse - editing menu color
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ Terminal mode ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
Terminal mode is designed to
view and delete both incoming and
outgoing calls from another computer through a terminal program (MMD). Against unwanted penetrations into your computer, a ten-character password is provided. If in the terminal the computer asks you to enter something (for example, a password) of more than one character, then you should
enter it through a macro. When entering a password,
Enter is not placed at the end. If you want
to enter terminal mode, then issue some symbol in
the line before the beep.

B in principle, like a regular AON.
At least for me, the OAN in the MMD driver and the regular AOH
are defined the same way.

AM>> :)))))
ND> hmm... the quality will probably be bad... it would be better if the voice hacker

Tiny problem - the voice comes out from the voice hacker already in
encoded
(compressed) form. And if you want to decode it, then there will be big
problems on the spec:
these algorithms require quite a few resources by Spectrum standards...
From Eugene Palenock → To All 21 September 2000
20 Sep 00 13:20, Nicolas Davidov -> Kirill Frolov:
ND> why emulate Wiccom? a voice modem will have more possibilities
ND>...
No:(
Most voice modems are not able to send one byte per line. There
a block of data is transmitted immediately and often with compression. And the voice modem switches between
reception and transmission relatively slowly.
So in order to emulate Wicomm on the Spectrum, you need to install a softmodem, there with
a better voice, but in any case the power of the ZX is not enough for him.
With respect, Evgeniy.
From Aleksandr Majorov → To All 21 September 2000
ND> how is it, both mmd and haesnik at the same time? :-/
Hmm...
I’ll explain it popularly.
In Tmyla, in the configs there is such a line “when to answer
when calling.”
In MMD something similar has been done.
AOHy says generally simple - from 20:30 to 07:00 forget about auto-raise.
And that's it!
The clock is out! ;)
From Kirill Frolov → To All 21 September 2000
Why does Spectrum need these capabilities? And emulate Wicomm for communication with
Vicomm people.
From Kirill Frolov → To All 21 September 2000
ND>> there will be more...
EP> No :(
EP> Most voice modems do not know how to send one byte per line.
Is this necessary? Because of compression they cannot.
EP> There a block of data is transmitted immediately and often with compression.
Without compression it will not fit into the serial port...
EP> And the voice modem
EP> switches between reception and transmission relatively slowly.
IMHO with sufficient speed. Of course, I’m not completely sure,
but if it switches between reception and transmission in 10ms,
then this is quite enough!
EP> So to emulate Wicomm on the Spectrum, you need a softmodem
EP> put, there is a better voice, but the power of the ZX in any case
