How to use uudc in is_dos if there are many sections?

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrij M. Stegnitskiy To All 25 August 1998

Greetings!
Please write to me, who is not knowledgeable about
how to use the sub if there are many
sections. I try to decode the first one, but
I think that it automatically moves on to the
others. But it says that there is no end of file or something like that. Well, I don’t know, maybe
there needs to be a special name for the files?
Write more about such utilities.
Let me take my leave with that.
With respect, Andrey.

It's better to do it zed. In isdos, you need to place all sections
in one file and in order, then remove
all the garbage between sections including section checksums
and begin lines and you can unpack them. Of the NOT UUENCODs, only the begin line at the beginning and the checksums
from the last section should remain. There shouldn't even be
blank lines between sections - glue everything together. Having cleared it, write down on a piece of paper
the checksum displayed on the screen and compare it with the amount
at the end of the last section - if it does not match, start all over again.

Yes, there’s no need to name anything special there, it’s just that the decoder itself is a little dumb and doesn’t understand that the user can be divided into several sections in different files (although it’s not clear why, because uuencode itself breaks it down into these very sections).
So you’ll have to put together all these sections into one file and remove
all unnecessary words, i.e. leave a clean yuyuk (Enter's can be left), otherwise the file will not be decoded correctly, although the program will write that everything is ok :(

With best wishes, Dmitry.

Where did you find that one?! The one I have (I caught it in ZX.SPECTRUM, Andrey
Isaev threw it) understands the sections perfectly. If only it were possible to slip them out of
order to her, then there would be no need to rip them out.

Well, yes, of course!.. It’s only relatively convenient to rip out the yuyuki from _eh_, and
then if you have TR-DOS 5.12F, ram-disk.
And if the yuyuki came in soap, and the .pkt turned out to be more than 64K? If the sections are in
order, then everything is OK - you put Dizmaster's .pkt on Melon's chopped .pkt
UUdecod0.000002...
And if not in order - that's it, the pipe, you have to get under the is-dos.

?!! What are you talking about?
I leave everything: section, and sum, and empty lines... and the tieline can probably be
thrown away. In order, I just blinded them and that’s it, uudc.comcounts the check amount and
writes it and “OK” or "Error"...

Hmm... So we have it old... Throw it here, or with soap - please...

With that, Roman, let me say goodbye.

It looks like you don’t have it in 5030. I’ll throw some soap at you, and you put it there on the BBS
somewhere so it’s accessible.
