An unpacker was written. JPEG-a?
With the best, Oleg!
... I’ll buy a moonshine still. intermediary phone number 02.

In general, yes... Roma followed the well-worn path, as in the case of Walker.
With respect, Alex Noman.

Prize for the studio! :))
Yes, and it already really works, you could see the results of its work.
Converts to profi modes (512x240) with interlacing, 256x192 standard and with
interlacing, RGB.
Read more in BORN DEATH #6 (Samara).
P.S. I would like to note that the conversion took place without any adjustments to the jpeg in terms of
the quality of the resulting image, the contrast was set at random to 50%,
in short, all the settings were perfect :)
2All: How much did the respected All rate the quality of the conversion?

What does the well-worn path mean and what does Volker have to do with it?

Romin option:
1) Take a jpeg viewer on the Amiga
2) Analyze the code
3) ... can you guess further? :)
The generally accepted approach:
1) Take manuals
2) Develop _your own_ algorithms...
3) ... Is it clear further? :)

It converts very neatly! Congratulations!
The most pleasant thing is that there is absolutely no effect of “clumping” of dots, when from a distance the picture
looks normal, but up close it turns into a jumble of pixels.
I have only written a gif unpacker so far, it converts using the same method.
But the quality is a little worse for me (although you can tinker with the settings and
achieve the same contrast ;), because the converter was written “as long as it was”
and obviously allows for huge errors.
ps: how long does it take on average to unpack a picture (not taking into account the conversion time)?

In general, unpacking and conversion in GfxCon are parallel processes and cannot
exist separately (yet).
Unpacking with conversion without turbo mode and depending on the size of the original
picture (and its size is, in principle, limited to 65535x65535 pixels;) takes approximately
2 to 10 minutes.
