The situation is similar. Formatting or checking takes about 38 seconds
per track :( When formatting a track, the last sector does not want
to be formatted and is entered as bad. The grueling process cannot be interrupted
with the button, except between tracks (if you have time ;) After formatting,
the disk is not visible to the system.
