ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Felix Knajzev To All 19 March 1999

Greetings, oh venerable All!

2Moderator: Since Misha Kondratyev himself has already uploaded dosx files with source codes here, and my permission for yuyuk remains valid,
I am uploading here an archive with everything necessary for flashing the
UFPZU using a real (even 48K will work) Speck. So...

Description of files in the archive.

1. "MPPSv2.1" is the original programmer, the program supports the scheme proposed in the file "MPPScxem".

WARNING!

This program must _be sure_ to be run in BA-
SIC_48 mode !!! Those. with configuration port #7FFD blocked !!!
Also, if you have a Hayes modem connected according to Mikhail
Kondratiev’s scheme, (#XXEF) then the programmer will “conflict” with
the modem!

2. "MPPS2.1+" is an adapted version of the programmer program for decryption of the KP580BB55A MS for the "Profi" computer, or any
other where the BB55A port is connected in a similar way.

port A - #1F; can be used under "Kempston Joystick"
port B - #3F
port C - #5F
ENG ---- #7F; register of the control word.

With such decoding, the program can be run in the 128th mode, although, in order to protect yourself from troubles, it is better in the BASIC_48 mode. There are no conflicts with the Hayes modem!

3. "Mouse55+" -universal circuit for connecting LSI KP580BB55A
to the ZX-Spectrum, allowing you to work with the UFPZU programmer
(for version "MPPS2.1+"!), connect Kempston Joystick and
Kempston Mouse (!!!).

4. "MPPScxem" - original programmer circuit for the program
"MPPSv2.1"

5. "MPPS+512" - diagram and description of modification of the original programmer "MPPSv2.1" and "MPPS2.1+" to obtain the ability to program MS type 27512 (!!!) (c) Felix Knajzev.

6. "PE3&PT4" - reprinted code of the ROM programmer
with fusible jumpers K155PE3 and KP556PT4(A), KP555PT11. The program was reprinted from the magazine "Radio Amateur". Unfortunately,
information about the journal number and the year of its publication has been lost. :(
Therefore, if you find the number where this program was published (and the diagram for this program), then let me know, please.

Sincerely, Felix.
