From Ilya Vinogradov To All 31 May 2001

Hello, All!

Since this topic has started, catch two small programs...

═══════════════════ file_id .d ══════════════════

SMUC_CAT.B - A program that forms a “combined catalog” of all
TRD images in all TRD partitions of the HDD.
The directory of each partition is saved in a separate
file.

+ convenient thing for searching for a specific file...

SMUC_DiP.B - A program that generates a short directory of TRD partitions
with the following fields:

- number of free sectors,
- disk image name,
- disk name (according to the 8th sector),
- number of files/number
- deleted files.

In addition, you may see the following inscriptions:
- not formatted - parameters of the 8th sectors
are not quite normal.
- no files - there are no files on the disk.

+ a very convenient thing for quickly searching for free
space on the screw...

<---> All programs by me ;))

31.o1.2ooi. Siril/4D.
═══════════════════ ═════════════════════════════

P.S. - Even images and sections with the same
names are easily catalogued -since the connection is made not by names, but by partition/image numbers,
on the basis of which, according to data from the catalog, descriptors
of partitions/images are generated. (my procedure, which, by the way, was in the collection of procedures
for working with FDD/HDD by Faster & Siril)

Hmm... Have you seen my program CAT_HDD v3.1? The same thing is done there, only
the interface is more convenient...

so the programs need to be better distributed;) in the form of an appendix to the magazine, on
sites, etc

And now there are no chairs :) Frunze dumped on the PC, now we don’t know where at all.
Hunter makes websites for I-Net. Walker sits at the PC, works, but designs an operating system for Speck! Count and Mixer - who knows where. But Leo is sitting on the Amiga.
Because he hates PC. I am the only one who continues to release systems regularly. That's all that remains of the glorious Style Group, creator of the untitled toy Net
Walk and Hexagon 2 :)

Hexagon 2 was released as an appendix to the 2nd FORMAT. Our starting game is quite primitive. But the second toy, Net Walk, is a cult game, on two discs. Very sophisticated. At one time, it passed through the CIS in triumph. There, in particular, for the first time GS music was written specifically for the game, and GS music repeated AY music. Wow! But there is one problem: we have so badly restored the protection that no one has really broken it yet :( So there is no unprotected version, and the game cannot be launched on an emulator. And an fdi image cannot be created, we protected ourselves well from this. However, before the breakup of the group, we released a copier games, but here there is only one way to make a copy: you take the original game (2 discs), and make a copy (2 protected discs). Therefore, even here in St. Petersburg, not everyone has the game, but if anyone is interested, I can think of something.
Send it by mail.

Is Net Walk the game where you need to connect all computers to the server, or
another one? If so, then it’s on one disk, and it doesn’t take up all of it.
I copied it with a regular copier.

Good bay Vlad!

we brought it back in 99 (with the CC), and one guy even made a TRD version (2
discs), although he seems to have lost the muse for the GS... And the protection there is simple like:
in front of each sector there are address markers of false sectors, without data.
all copiers. They find these markers, but there is no data, so they break off;). And
you can load at least using #3D13, you only need to know the real sector numbers.
Although maybe I’m wrong;)

Probably not the same one, I also have NetWalk on half a disk, but
there is no GS music there.

1. Does HS music occupy a separate disc or is it mixed in?
2. How much do you want for the game?
