From whom, from the emulator people? Because the realist just needs to unpack

It’s there, among the bad emulators.
5. Files placed in the echo conference must be only
in UUE encoding and meet the standards of one of the following
categories:
a) standard Spectrum file in Hobeta format (*.$*);
b) text file in 866 GOST (alternative) encoding (*.txt);
c) ROM firmware files in binary code (*.bin);
d) disk images of the Shalaev emulator (*.trd);
e) raster graphic files (*.pcx, *.bmp, *.jpg).
Before posting, the above files must be packed with Spectrum ZIP (*.$z) or a similar
archiver on PC (*.ZIP), the archive must contain a description of the contents in a text file (it is desirable that this file have the standard name file_id.diz,
descript.ion or read_me).
As for the description of the files, I fully support the moderator --
I currently have _11_ _megabytes_ of unassembled Spectrum
Varez on my bbs...
Obviously, there is no mention of hobeta here nothing. That probably means it’s possible.
The fact that zxzip does not require mandatory permission seems clear
it should be. The fact that it is easier to work with an unsecured zxzip archive
Spectrum also seems to be beyond doubt. And the fact that brainless
emulator developers can’t unpack the file doesn’t seem to matter here.
In the same rules it is clearly written for whom the echo was created.

It’s easier for emulator developers. But even for me it’s difficult to glue these cut files
into one and look for where the beginning is and where the end is. And this despite the fact that
in Windows there is a COPY FILE+FILE command. And on the Spectrum it will be

Do you mean that it is difficult to want a file of 255 sectors? Or merge this
file brought from the PC? In both cases, you can use software that was written a long time ago
and is available to everyone, so no problems.

And they never will. But what happens is that there are two files, one of which is the main one, and the second is a 17-byte appendage. They are located one after the other, and everything is ok.

Exactly for this, as well as for everything else. By the way, it was noticed
that the station on EMC does not process mail from points if the file type is not "P", but
"p". Namely, these are the types that are obtained if you transfer pekateshniks from PC to Speck. And write a simple trick with editing a symbol, run it
automatically, and the problem immediately disappears.
