Hello, All
We need help from Muscovites, Communists - smart spektrumists who have faced
with the problem of transferring 5.25 floppy disks to IBM.
The collection is good, there is something that no one has or has ever had. You need a real Spectrum,
golden hands and time. There are about 200 floppy disks in total, well preserved. I can't
read disks for one reason:
The disks were most likely formatted in some unusual version of TRDOS in real life,
without DCU and ADM (I don’t remember the exact name)
In this collection there were floppy disks that I read from track to track, they were not
Nom, but someone else’s (from the market, from other cities), that is, formatted
most likely DCU or a similar program, but not Nomi.
Why it is necessary to translate:
Nomy had access to all the "Gods" of the Spectrum! (KSA, ISAEV A, FANTOMASSOFT) AND
There’s a lot there that we weren’t allowed to look at or think about.
There's definitely:
NK DOS v1.0 is a new operating system above TRDOS. MS interface and structure
DOS 3.0 (project completed!!!) Made by Nomy and KSA.
NOMY GFX releases not released to the market:
Garfield 2, Miamy Cobra GT, Simple Demo, Delight Demo, Electrized Demo -
Unfinished project.
and much more.
In short, my wheels are in the Maryino area.

If you want, somehow throw me a floppy disk from the collection, I’ll see if I can read it
on my Amiga (I read everything from Spec on the Amiga)

Hello Titus
I can get busy, since there is a Pentagon with 5.25 and 3.5 drives, that is, according to
scheme floppy disk 5.25 -> to floppy disk 3.5, floppy disk 3.5 read on PC. But 200 disks -
this will last a long time. Probably not for one month. Decide for yourself.

Hello Titus
Tit> Don’t even think about writing to these same floppy disks, or restoring them, otherwise you’ll kill them
Tit> Fuck you, restaurateurs
And if the most important thing is to just take it and copy it from disk to disk in real life???

Hello, Wlodek
Wlo> I can do it, since there is a Pentagon with 5.25 and 3.5 drives, then
Wlo> there is a 5.25 floppy disk -> on a 3.5 floppy disk, read a 3.5 floppy disk on
Wlo> PC. But 200 discs is a long time. Probably not for one month. Decide
Wlo> itself.
Wlodek, write to me by email, we’ll discuss how to meet. I'll be on duty tomorrow, then
I'm sleeping, and... in general, I'll find time to drop by and bring a collection of CDs.
The diagnosis is that the disks are formatted with tr dos turbo. Therefore on
PCs will never read them. They all need to be restored in real life. In general, of course
not all, but the most necessary and interesting ones.
The translation scheme may be different:
The floppy disk is restored and transferred to PC.
We need to look at the time it takes to complete this task. NK DOS signed, others
The floppy disks are also signed, but there may be discrepancies. The hardest thing to choose
necessary and rare, without missing anything.

Hello Titus
Tit> Don’t even think about writing to these same floppy disks, or restoring them, otherwise you’ll kill them
Tit> all the same, restaurateurs
+1000! a track can be read, formatted, and then not recorded. because -
Immediately seal the recording windows and only read on new discs. better look
program for creating *.trd directly in real life (I don’t remember if there were any) and write 5.25 >
3.5 msdos 720kb and then on PC under Windows (who likes HP) directly and
read

Hello, The Exploited
I'm starting to think about a real Pentagon with TEAC drives and normal
connection to a modern LCD monitor. I wonder if there are any of these for sale??? Time
I started such a site and I’m making a fuss, I have to justify the trust of hackers.

If; If you want to connect to an SVGA monitor, look for a scandoubler.

Hello Titus
I will not restore anything, the original 5.25 floppy disks will only be read. Just
because the PC only has a 3.5 drive. 5.25 floppy disks will be easy
copied to 3.5, and that’s it.

Hello Titus
Tit> Of course you can copy. You cannot restore to the same disks
This is how I had one unpleasant incident. The notorious NK-DOS I
was intensively finishing the work, trying to time the release to coincide with KSA’s birthday, so that
give it to him as a gift. Release v0.5. I got it, so I
solemnly and launched it at KSA on his car (KSA was even touched when he saw
the result of the "DIR" command). However, I immediately made a fatal mistake - by testing
MD command (MKDIR). That's it - the disk crashed completely (when trying to write to track 0),
so this was the first and last moment of demonstrating my product in public
:v2_sick;
Not; repeat my mistakes! (and don't test NK-DOS on real disks plz! well
or at least don't use writing commands).
