Does such an animal exist in nature? Best regards, Dmitry

It doesn’t even start normally in dosemu (in the X window). That is, of course It starts, but the screen is black. It turns out the video controller is through the ports (registers) are directly programmed in a clever way - this is only under DOS lives normally. In Windows I remember that the image on the screen always got lost when switching tasks, sometimes everything froze. DM> Otherwise I have problems with sound under Windows... Under NT there is some kind of program to emulate the old DOS sound, well kind of like a soundblaster emulator for a DOS emulator. I mean not in Windows distribution kit, but sold separately, I don’t remember which company. DM> In general, has anyone seen the source code? There is such a beast in DM> nature? The source codes were given to the people a very long time ago. They exist, but not in any way Windows and Linux it is basically not portable (Watcom + TASM + all DOStroubles). And it won’t work out quickly and optimally either. And Unreal Spectrum in windows-NT (specifically in NT, W2K, etc.) already works quite well.

What if you port it to a penguin? IMHO, emulsion for sprinter Is there one for Linux, but not one for normal spec? Not good though! Best regards, Dmitry

Check out glukalka on sourceforge. If without TR-DOS then fuse also. If with TR-DOS and for the money (about $25) then XZX - there is no tr-dos in the demo version, but everything looks quite excellent. You can run R80, EMUZ (storehouse emulator) in dosemu. Possibly and other DOS emulators will work, the kind that don’t mess with hardware too much. Yudin's DOS emulator also works, but only in the console, SPM works (also only in the console if you allow dosemu direct access to the video card). ANDThe Shalaev emulator should work in the same way in the console.
