From Alexander Araktcheew To Evgeny Goljakov 4 May 2000

Reply-to: 500:8362/1.10@ZXNET Greetings, Evgeny! Fri 5 May 2000 at 01:55:22 Evgeny Goljakov and All were talking ^^^^^ on the topic PKunzip. No, cool, I’m writing an answer to a question that hasn’t been asked to me yet ;) EG> a bug was found, but it would take a long time to explain You can't explain it :) In general, it's time to confess and sprinkle ashes on your head ;) pkunzipf v1.2 sometimes corrupts the unpacked file if its length exceeds ~200k, what is written to disk is not exactly what was unpacked. The glitch has long been found and targeted, it remains to add a few more useful ones features and there will be another version. EG> how should the author/s write? rtfm do ;) And to be honest, we are here too :) But since ZX.NET often runs once a week with us, it’s better to write via Fido: 2:5052/22.13 Alexander Araktcheew. All the best, Evgeny! Alexander aka Arc of RLDG.

From Alexander Araktcheew To Valera Selev 12 January 2002

Greetings, Valera! Thu 3 Jan 2002 at 22:21:25 Valera Selev and Alexander Araktcheew were talking on the topic PKUNZIP. AA>> then I finally gave up. AA>> There will be no new versions... VS> If we kick, they will. :) Pisism is slowly washing the brain... [...........] AA>> WorkersConstruction Troops - this is strength ;) VS> Yes, these animals are not even given weapons... ;) Read the first letters :) We see weapons every day, but we see cartridges for them 3 times a year :))) But mostly - a shovel and a broom :/ VS> And it wasn’t you who were going to make some kind of adventure game like “Castle Black” VS> (I don’t remember the exact name)? This was a long time ago and not true. The project stalled at the very beginning... In general, I’m the only one left from RLDG on the Spectrum; Glen’s is actually still on the mezzanine Speck is lying around somewhere, the rest are at the PC, if not at home, then at work. At my work, I also have a PC at my full disposal (Hruntium4 1.4 GHz - that one brake :), we indulge in outdoor advertising ;) I've almost set up Fidosoft there, so you can write to me at the old address 2:5052/22.13 Alexander Araktcheew Somewhere else there is our website on the Internet (I haven’t even seen it, so Lekha has the address Let me clarify) where all the works of our group are posted. All the best, Valera! Alexander aka Arc of exRLDG.
