From Evgeny Goljakov → To Aleksey Senilov 25 September 2002
Hello Aleksey.
Tue 24 Sep 02 Aleksey Senilov -> Evgeny Goljakov:
AS>>> A bunch of overlays does not mean a bunch of files, they can be accepted
Combine AS>>> into a monoblock. (although this suggests itself
AS>>> the solution is open source, and assembled from the necessary parts directly in
EG>> A similar common sense idea was proposed for both RC and BV
EG>> - in vain.
AS> Vain in the sense that no one opens the sources?
RC offered greater freedom to overlays. (c) D. Nesmachny
In BV, modularity has been proposed for a long time, but the main argument is:
it will be a bunch of files and it will be lazy to write a utility for collecting
monoblock. (ts) people
There's more of a psychological barrier here.
Thank you for your attention.

Well yes...

"lazy" is the key word :)
EG> There is rather a psychological barrier here.

EG> Thank you for your attention.
