I looked at the source code - it’s great, you can compile it right now. Only iron here
nothing, not even virtual =(

And what’s more, there are ready-made 8-bit implementations, for example:
http://www.sics.se/~adam/uvnc/
there is also a link to ready-made TCP/IP
It’s just not entirely clear what is needed: a thin client (this is when the client
launches one single service - the thin client service and simply receives
commands for drawing the screen and collects and sends to the server user
input, and the application actually runs on the server) or is it still peer-to-peer
network of distributed computing, where heterogeneous processes are executed on all
nodes and somehow synchronize?
In the case of a thin client, it doesn’t matter what’s running on the application server -
CP/M, Windows or unix. ZX only draws screens. Is there a problem with the screen?
really not a problem - for the majority of people who are “hands on” and can
take advantage of new developments, and not just launch games, already clones with
advanced graphics. You just need to write down the general average level - and
then, at a low level, everyone will write a “localization” of the screen for their clone, in
the most advanced case: v2_wink2; -; under 256x192 with some kind of scrolling.

Local bus:
1. Interface-1, Disciple.
2. RS-232 (485)
3. Bidirectional parallel port 580BB55.
In case (1) there is software support on the ZX side, you just need to do
device
But what does GDI have to do with it?

There is no need for a global network. Just on the local bus so that you can communicate
say 2-4 zx-spectrum + functionally complete modules supporting the most
a simple exchange protocol.

this is exactly what is needed... and as for the fact that the screen, well, that’s right, that’s why it’s ready and not
will fit and the client will be a little thicker...and what kind of clients could there be? 1, 2 or 4
what does this change? about 1. Interface-1, Disciple.
2. RS-232 (485)
3. Bidirectional parallel port 580BB55.
It would be nice to support zx with everything possible, if it doesn’t complicate the task too much
establishing a connection, on the server side you can set decoupling and normal
bidirectional port (one leg) or ready-made COM

Hello andrews
Why is it an axis, or at least a superstructure above the axis? Because it arises
the need to distribute command flow and handle interrupts.
See
http://zx.pk.ru/showthread.php?t=4459
Previously, the z80 thrashed the algorithm for tens and hundreds of milliseconds, if it could have instructed
this to a procedural processor, then you could do the processing yourself
user input or something else. It can be used sensibly IMHO
only the axle.

In my opinion, what is for the Z80 is the AXIS. And what about automated workstations? This is a kind of
firmware has nothing to do with the OSes discussed here (since
does not work on Z80).
It’s logical to discuss this in the hardware section - it’s just that otherwise such confusion will arise,
your eyes will roll out of your head.

Hello, CHRV
Because this is not a completely traditional emulator. Here's the idea. Working
under TRDOS you need to be able to use all the bells and whistles of the new hardware(
in this case, this new hardware is just an accelerator for the z80),
working in the "master-ARM9" mode, it should launch "native software" through
iron z80, but in the form of a separate thred. Show me such an emulator :)
and I agree that it is an emulator.
To avoid complete confusion: the z80 is electrically connected to the ports
AT91SAM9261.

Hello Nomy Graphics
"Start copying"?
There are lawsuits, for example, against zaurus. There is also all the software up to KDE. A
making a platform without software will no longer work. I would choose Linux as more
a common option, which can be joined by a larger one compared to
eCos community.
USB and even more so CF are supported well in Linux, but I don’t know about the rest.
Java along with axels is not needed, why is it if you can compile native code?

Hello andrews
I completely agree. English is the international standard. Why doom
software product for obvious burial within the walls of only one (even if
big and native) country.
This also applies to the name, although to a lesser extent than to the teams -
since the name is a very important component of any product.
A "EXECUTE" Reminds me of "VARIABLE HOT FOUND" or "INJALID COLOR" :-)

eCos port 4 AT91SAM9261 (sources available)

one of the following GUI -Microwindows, Nano-X,
MiniGUI http://www.minigui.com
I don’t know which one yet, because... downloaded yesterday
Regarding the name, to make it sound better, you can do it like this

Hello NovaStorm
The X's (or what's underneath them) need to be ported, but who will port to
a platform that does not yet exist? eCos, as I understand it, is less dependent on hardware and
In addition, there is a ready-made port for SAM9261. All drivers are supported
internals, including USB, CF, SD, etc. (I haven’t seen everything on the drivers yet).
For testing hardware, this thing is simply irreplaceable.
There is also Jazelle (Java Axel) And as for phones (and PDAs), this is
in general, my global strategy. Make a homemade desktop equal to -2
generations of game consoles, PDAs, phones.
More and more serious operating systems will be able to appear only with
a certain prevalence of the new shell.

There are not many ambiguous words in Russian and I am glad that there are no longer living systems
programming with Russian identifiers like "EXECUTE." :|
