Recommend *FREE* fido mailer for Windows-NT. I watched
Binkleyterm XE and T-mail NT. The first one without a compiled nodelist
it won’t get stuck, it’s not clear how to compile it without FastLst for $20...
The second, on the one hand, has too redundant capabilities,
on the other hand, it has significant limitations in the non-commercial version, and
causes difficulties with placement of configuration files...

Radius. By the way, now it can work via TAPI, recognize
incoming PPP and forward it to RAS. http://fido5012.narod.ru/
Faxes are accepted if the modem has fclass 2.0

Can you list the significant limitations of non-commercial T-Soap? And also
Tell me what the difficulties are with placing configuration files?
Happy connections. Roman.

I also watched Argus. Everything is fine, but: every time you start again
asks for various settings, and has no text files
configurations. The first one is fatal (how to run it automatically?),
the second is extremely inconvenient. It’s even worse that he doesn’t store it all in the registry,
from where you can export-import into text, and in your config.bin
:-( I couldn’t find any more mailers on the Internet. Is it really for NT
(not for DOS!) There are even fewer of them (mailers) than for Linux? I wish I could
never thought...
Has anyone launched a T-Mail service on NT? srvany.exe exists, also
I haven't tried it. Interested, I "face" T-Mail, this is where it is shown
what does it do, and can it be controlled, can I observe it or not? No,
I understand that the “face” and the mailer itself must be different processes.
I just heard that T-Mail has such a mode of operation when one of
instances of running processes works as a “manager”, and
the rest, the “subordinates,” do all the work. Or is it just in
commercial version available?
I’m also interested in how they are fighting T-Mail’s monopoly takeoverCOM port? After all, then he refuses to call the Internet, and no others
modem programs do not start. In KittenMail (by the way, the versions are newer
v0.11 from 2000 for NT exist and where do they get it?) there was such a feature,
that you can seize a port only at the time of making an outgoing call.
But then you can’t receive incoming calls at all! :-( I understand that
You can kick T-Mail so that it frees up the port and starts the dialer. But this
somehow it works out backwards. I would like to have a "arbiter" program
receiving incoming calls and transmitting them to the appropriate person (t-mail,
fax...), as well as releasing the port when it is opened by others
programs, like the same T-mail...

sorry, doesn't this mean that the radio has a dialupserver?
It wouldn’t really bother me, could you tell me what version it came from?
Is it a radiator or a reactor?

Doesn't your mail reach you or what?
Within the radius the configs are text, and there is a remote control console
taken here http://fido5012.narod.ru

They demolish the soap and put a radius in TAPI mode.

What mail? fido (2:5030/827) - doesn't reach...
EP> Within the radius, the configs are text, and there is a remote control console

Eh... Why console, and why remote? I want service.
Today I looked at radius. The same eggs, side view! That is, every time
When starting up, it asks for the area code and something else. And the modem does not open,
TCP only. No, maybe it works for someone, but in my configuration
doesn't want something. Bugs, apparently, will be fixed there for another 33 years.
Well, to hell with it! I liked T-Mail better. That's just how
make calls and receive faxes on the Internet? Well figs, with the Internet,
You can replace rasdial.exe with something that will kick T-mail.
What about faxes? Semi-axles through which place bgfax
do they screw it in, or do they have a commercial T-mail? :-/
KF>> I’m also interested in how they are fighting the monopoly takeover by T-Mail KF>> COM port?

For the mere lack of competent documentation - 10:0 in
use T-Mail...

Yes. This one is already a year and a half old, but TAPI appeared recently, about 2 weeks ago,
and works like steel only in the last 2-3 assemblies.
The correct version can be found here http://radius.5076.ru/rad_beta.rar

It works normally as a service. Only for this you need third-party software.

Answer that there is no modem or IP, and click done.
Or is this a bug, because... You found a too old version.

commercial search.

it won't work.
Better go to the radius. He also receives faxes himself, and does not interfere with calling
Internet, and incoming PPP can transfer to the RAS service, and it works with VentaFax.
Best regards, Eugene.

Modifiers for launching external programs
═════════════════════ ══════════════════════
In all configuration files when specifying the execution of external programs
(or commands) you can specify modifiers before the name of these programs
(prefixes). Several different modifiers can be used
at the same time. The following are valid modifiers:
'!' - do not swap. When this modifier is specified at startup
external task will not perform T-Mail swap and,
Consequently, the amount of free memory for
of the launched task with some acceleration of its launch. Foroperating systems OS/2 and Windows NT this modifier has
slightly different meaning (see chapters 22 and 23).
───────────── Cut and save ───────────────
───────────── Cut and save ───────────────
The significant difference is how external programs are launched
from under T-Mail in OS/2. Flag "!" when specifying any Process forces T-Mail
Before starting an external program, close the COM port and open it again by
return. You have the ability to run both OS/2 and DOS tasks.
If you need to run a task in parallel, use OS/2 tools.
Example:
-------
Process BBS !do_bbs.cmd *P
───────────── Cut and save ───────────────
There’s one thing I don’t understand: why praise documentation that one guy hasn’t even read?

The following keys can be used on the T-Mail command line and
parameters other than those described in Chapter 24:
