Hello All!
Who has an Asus V3800 with drivers older than 23.xx?
In general, 2 completely identical computers (on Chaintech 7AJA2-100),
in one V3800Pro (Delux), in the other V7100Pro. Windows is the same.
I install the same driver (29.40, 28.80, 31.40).
On the 7100, the information tab says AGP 7100, and the bus is AGP4x,
and for the 3800, this tab says PCI 3800 and the bus is PCI.
But, I have an AGP V3800 card!!!
And powerstrip says that AGP and that it works in 4x.
VIA 4-in-1 is the latest everywhere (but this bug existed before).
Driver bug?
Or where is the garbage in the registry?
What to do?
Maybe there is something in the BIOS that you need to play with?
Does anyone have a sabzhevy ligament?
PS similar versions of drivers on the same hardware in WinME write AGP3800
as it should be...
Best regards, Evgeniy.
