Hello BYTEMAN
I recently came across the Composer program, which seems to be just wav->midi. And then midi2stm
midi2mod - I think there were some.

You shouldn’t be so categorical. there is a modplugtracker that can unpacked wav
convert into it, xm, mod formats

Of course, you can throw it into the tracker as a sample, but how much does such a module weigh?
will it be? ))) definitely won’t fit into GS))

Anton, this will be a regular sample! wav as it was wav, so it will remain so, inside
module.

Hello BYTEMAN
yes, there are programs wav2mod, as well as converting wav to midi, but the output
it turns out to be complete nonsense. this is like the first versions of jpg 2 scr converters. and if
converting pictures to scr is a more or less understandable process, then converting sound,
Clearly, a much more difficult task.
Nothing can replace a living person. You can always do much better manually,
than using any converter.

As I understand it, this is an AI task at the automatic conversion level
spoken into text or restoration of a 3D scene from a sequence of frames
from the movie. Of course, these problems will someday be solved, but not VERY
soon...

But isn’t it possible to listen to a regular wav via gs, without all these
conversions to mod and other things? or is it still possible? and are there programs for this?

although we have moved a little away from the topic, it is, in principle, already possible, programs,
devices that allow this to be done are already commercially available. I would name one as an example, yes

Well, a person can do this... Even if not purely by ear, but armed
guitar or keys, but nevertheless restore in the form of notes all the parts of that
or another song is quite possible. Another thing is that the selection principle itself
explain to the computer? A non-formalizable task.

a person can, am I arguing? I myself spent a couple of years successfully setting up karaoke for

Hello, 2points
there are promising developments - for example, using the wavelet transform and
further analysis, samples (eg guitar, piano, drum) can be presented
in the form of a mother wavelet and then I don’t want to expand it, BUT I understand that
in theory everything is good and simple, but in practice there is not a single program that would
used this approach. Although let's say wavelets for image processing
used - the same JPEG2000 or WL format in Corel.

Kpa> haven't laughed so much for a long time

but it would be easier to just wav2it or wav2ft. but no one needs the result.
because it will just be a healthy sample :)
