TNT2 problem

From Alex Shalin To All 10 April 2000

Hi All! This is some kind of scribe!!! I had to buy a new mother for the brand new TNT2, the old one was not up to the task. We recommended Chaintech 5AGM2 on the MVP3 chipset. So, I have K6-2 380(400) MHz, 32DIMM, ASUS PCI V3800TV, Win98SE. What I don’t have is NORMAL OPERATION of the video card in Windows. I looked through all the FAQs, All the docks, this infection doesn’t want to work. The symptoms are: I install Standard VGA, reboot, install standard drivers from Asus, I reboot, instead of the Windows GUI there is a black screen. The same crap with HVidia drivers, even drivers from I tried Diamond, everything is the same. Jumped with a tambourine around my mother's BIOS, turned off AGP, disabled AGP x2, USB, nothing works :-((( I tried all sorts of stupid things that are written in FAKs - nothing. In the offices where I bought this whole business they are rolling on top of each other - Something is wrong with you and your video, or vice versa with your mother. Damn, I killed him would. Nobody can really say anything - “Nobody complained to us.” "Technicians" suggest repeating that sequence action, which I have already tried more than once, as if they were reading mine thoughts. That is it turns out that I threw away 200 bucks, freaks, not technical support. And it seems like you won’t be able to hand it over under warranty. Maybe someone can advise something. I've been fucking with this card for 2 weeks now. -=> Bye, Alex Shalin aka Bishop <=- [ZX]
