search in archives
ZXNet echo conference «zxnet.pc»
From Valerij Kozhevnikoff → To All 5 August 2003
Hello, All!
What you need to do: find all the files that match the mask in the archives on your computer
the mask I need (and sometimes under the contents). Features like "search" are welcome
in found", advanced search terms, etc.
For example, “in all *.ZIP and *.RAR, find all readme.???”.
Until now, I have used FAR for these purposes, but it is more or less fast
works only with RAR, with others it's incredibly slow... Several hundred ZIP and HA
he will probably shovel for a week... In addition, FAR all sorts of TRD, SCL, FDI,
ISO, etc. and even EXE also considers directories/archives and searches in them too,
first the archiver signature, then the files inside the archive... If it comes across
broken ZXZIP inside TRD - screams "error, archiver returned exit code xxx"
and is waiting for me to press the button... well, in general, you can’t leave him overnight.
Who will advise what?
WBR, Jason.
