SCSI port

Hello(s), All...! The plot is like this. There is a Mustek ScanExpress 12000SP scanner. There is a subject adapter native to the scanner; apparently compatible with Adaptec, according to Windows Hardware Manager. The scanner has a SCSI transit output further. Question: do I really have a SCSI port, or does it just seem like it to me? :) What do I need to buy to connect, what SCSI cable? I can actually connect 14 more SCSI devices to that crap, which scanner was given to me? The scanner has been in use since 2002, just now I had the urge to get two HDDs SCSI for free. Thank you.
