Hello, All! ================== Start of file: Windows Clipboard ================== The two largest Japanese giants NTT and DoCoMo Inc. developed technology which allows the human body to be used as a transmission medium for a digital signal. According to the developers, the speed can reach 10Mbit/sec. Thus, the PDA located in the pocket and in contact with body (or via wLAN with a device on the body), can exchange information with a similar device from another person literally through a handshake. Moreover, even a handshake is enough time to exchange mail. In general, handshake is not only was invented for modems :) Thus, it becomes possible to identify a person through contact with body. Of course, a person must have a device that will provide transmission information. Some details of the signal transmission technology are unknown. Man is big electrolyte bag, the technology, of course, uses body conductivity. And for High-frequency signal skin resistance means little. The principle is perhaps originates from that experiment with a field-effect transistor, when the body capacitance influenced the gate potential. ===================== End of Windows Clipboard ====================== Happy connections. Roman.
