It’s just customary to write on the Amiga in Windows encoding. And there are no problems there, there are just lamers. In normally configured software there it is possible for each echo indicate your encoding. In Amiga echoes they write in Win encoding. In the rest - in standard PC866. And the "PC_SUX" kludge is generally removed there in 10 seconds (and without the primitive replacing it with something else). PS. In general, this topic here is on the verge of offtopic.
