Reading from a 5.25 floppy drive

Hello, All Comrades, please help! I apologize in advance for being vague. I stole the disk drive from the old 386. After The settings of the PC floppy disk are read wonderfully, but none of the emulators sees", although 3.5 is visible and works fine. Maybe I'm doing it wrong (this is most likely)?
