POLL: WHICH EMULUS IS BETTER?

ZXNet echo conference «zxnet.pc»

From Gennady Demidenko To All 14 January 2006

Hello, biotoxin Spectaculator, Real Spectrum, Unreal, EmuzWIN

From Artem Bogdanov To All 11 July 2006

Hello, ice'di^triumph And I, and I, and I are of the same opinion! (c) Yes, I love Unreal with all its features... By the way, when did I see exactly this emulator, then I thought that I finally found something that works in some in some places the same, but in others - much better than my own emulator, May he rest in heaven :) But this somehow alarmed me at first... > EmuzWin is the best I've seen for Windows. > Maybe some meticulous ones will find some flaws in the part > emulation accuracy, then it will still be little things, at least in games > work fine, especially if you choose the right model > Spectrum, in the latter this is done very easily. Very convenient work > with trd, scl... > And a great debugger!!! You can immediately feel the hand of an experienced person > the programmer who created this emulator, which knows what it needs > viewing and debugging machine code. For example, using this > using the debugger, I easily corrected the error (apparently an intentional one), which > is present in the game MP Soccer, posted on Virtual Tr-dos, which > was that editing the team name was not possible> when editing, the emulated computer froze... or crashed. > I recommend EmuzWin, a very convenient thing, intuitive interface and good > emulation. But then I thought that I was still in a place where there was no place for advertising, so it's not her :)

Hello, ARTi ART> But then I thought that after all I was in a place where there was no advertising ART> places, so it's not her :) This is not advertising, this is praise.

Hello, Electrician > but something still forces me to reboot into Win98 and use > exactly Z80S... :rolleyes; a; Is version 0.600 running under xp not satisfactory?

From Alekseenko Alexey To All 17 July 2006

Hello, moroz1999 mor> are you not satisfied with version 0.600, running under xp? But for me it doesn’t fully work under XP. For example, there are no quotation marks in the buttons. And how I don’t know how to run the program without boot. After all, typing LOAD "" does not work. A Quite a cool thing and mainly because of the screen, it is displayed very clearly image. And the Mouzons play great. Looks a lot like Specki.

From Nikolay Istomin To All 17 July 2006

Hello, moroz1999 mor> are you not satisfied with version 0.600, running under xp? :rolleyes; She; It works in such a way that it would be better not to do it. :eek; :mad:;

From Vyacheslav Strunov To All 18 July 2006

Hello, Electrician Unreal is definitely the leader. True, that's when it was necessary to emulate slow memory banks, I only succeeded in Spectaculator. So the bourgeoisie sometimes rule too

From Sasha Alexandrov To All 22 July 2006

Hello, Strunov I use Spectaculator, EmuZwin and Unreal. I use EmuZwin when byte firmware is needed in TR-DOS; Unreal when in none of these emuls (EmuZwin, Spectaculator) does not want some program is working. Spectaculator in all other cases. In it there are many shortcomings, but I LIKE THE INTERFACE!!! :)

From Sasha Alexandrov To All 26 July 2006

Hello BYTEMAN All emulators have glitches. I give an example of two emulators and two glitches. The TRD2RAP converter that comes with Realtime Audio Player is buggy Spectaculator's like this: after reading the TRD of the image to which they were copied HOBETA files, BORDER began to flicker red. EVERYTHING... In Unreal everything is the same like clockwork... The player itself is buggy in Unreal: after the introductory music it died down and the emulated spec froze... The introductory theme did not fade away on the Spectaculator music, but the player itself worked.

From Mikhail Shakirov To All 2 August 2006

Hello BYTEMAN In the subject - Zemu. Anril is not being put on slack.

From Dmitry Malychev To All 2 August 2006

Hello Jason Krueger If you suddenly don’t need TRdos, or need to watch bourgeois demos, then SPIN rules, intended!

From TomCaT To All 2 August 2006

Hello, prof I used ZX32, then for DOS EmuzWin and Unreal, which for some reason were great I have a glitch - the first one hangs, the second one crashes. Then I found that it was knocking out Unreal with lock error on directSound - switched the driver to wave, and still not I’m overjoyed - there are no failures. But in terms of the number of functions, EmuzWin is ahead, so some operations are there.

From Mikhail Kuplenkov To All 2 August 2006

Hello Shadow Maker UNREAL SPECCY I haven't seen anything better, but in extreme cases UKV 12f5

From Sergey Molchanov To All 23 October 2006

Hello TomCaT I use Spectaculator always and everywhere. But some (very some) tap files he refuses to open - when you try to open, the emulator abruptly ends its work work without any explanation or error messages.
