Hello, Titus ZEmu / Linux ;)

From Andrey Alexandrovich Titov To All 20 February 2006

Hello, boo_boo boo> well, the list definitely lacks the “your own” option boo> You can mark your own in the 'other' section  Moreover, few craftsmen wrote 'their own' ;)

From Stanislav Lomakin To All 20 February 2006

Hello Sinus Sin> ZEmu / Linux ;) well, the list is definitely missing the “your own” option

From Oleg Golenkoff To All 20 February 2006

Hello Titus Previously used by many, something was missing in Unreal, now everything is there - for everyone thank you - everyone is happy  just kidding! there's just no point in using it though Who cares, of course, maybe someone is used to others... :o

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 11 March 2006

Hello, breeze I generally use three, it’s convenient to work in Unreal, I write disks in Real, and EmuZWin for saving in tap format because... not one of the above can't do it... :)

From Alekseenko Alexey To All 11 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov I use EMUL Z WIN 2.5 because: - everything works in it and I figured out the buttons. - it also has a lot of different settings; - clear! image; - everything loads quickly and it loads quickly; - convenient to work with archives and all that; - there is an acceleration mode to quickly skip uninteresting parts of the demos; - I learned in it to convert buggy FDI to non-buggy SCL easily and without forced. The new EMUL Z WIN 2.7 is buggy in computer selection mode. TR DOS disappears somewhere constantly, in general the old one is more reliable. I don’t really like SPECULATOR because: 1. there is some kind of cloudy screen in it and, moreover, rounded at the edges; :v2_blink: 2. and the most important thing against it is its (emulator) long loading time: v2_crazy: 3. it is foreign, and therefore enemy by definition, must be supported domestic manufacturer. Glory to EMUL Z WIN 2.5!!! :v2_clapp: UNREAL I tried it, but I couldn’t figure it out with the buttons.

From Vladimir Kladov To All 11 March 2006

Hello Black1980 yeah, the most convenient. If only you do something in Unreal at all. Then no longer It will take you a long time to remember what to click. I don't mind No GUI. MUST BE like this emulsion Lots of advantages: don’t bother with just Windows, it’s easier to port later where else, it’s easy to add something, in general you can pay more attention functionality, not appearance. (By the way, you don’t need to think about the resize - also a plus). But even Norton Commander had hints. Kind of like a text menu.

From Vladimir Kladov To All 11 March 2006

Hello Titus And I don’t “use” any of them, but since I’m developing my own, I noted those 4 (more precisely, the 5th one had to be marked “other” - the list is not complete), which I “use” in development process: Unreal, Real, Spectaculator. I also “use” EmuZWin - for its own development. And also Spin. It’s a shame it’s not included in the list. By the way, I'm here they sent me that my Z is also used under DOS :)

From Vladimir Kladov To All 11 March 2006

Hello, alexeenko nothing goes missing. TR-DOS, I mean. No, well, if you choose Spectrum128, or +3 of some kind, then yes. It has its own disk system +3 (I don’t have it implemented for now). Or are you talking about that glitch with the loss of TR-DOS in the menu? It's been fixed a long time ago it was.

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 11 March 2006

Hello, alexeenko ale> UNREAL I tried, but I couldn’t figure out something with the buttons. By the way, Ureal has the most convenient keyboard, in terms of control and input teams... :)

From SMT To All 12 March 2006

Hello Titus > But even Norton Commander had hints for which the first thing I learned was the button (Ctrl-B), how to disable them

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 13 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vla> But even Norton Commander had hints. Kind of like a text menu. There is HELP there, it is called by F1... But what for these tips and help!!! No, Well, I agree, this is the first time a person has encountered an emulsion and he just needs you need to look at this help... Well, once, well, twice, well, at worst, three... There’s no need for more, and if the memory is short, then why sit down for it, let it be puts it dandy and go ahead, no need to think there... :)

From Vladimir Kladov To All 13 March 2006

Hello Black1980 and I’ll run it a couple of times a month, according to my needs, and next time again as in first class. And by the way, you often come across such users. Not fans. They are once a month run the emulsion to drive a couple of any toys, what's the rest for this? Keep everything in your head for a month. In general, tips on the curb are similar to Dos navigator - people would be happy. (In English, of course, and with abbreviations). No need - turn it off in the config and continue fanaticizing. By the way, if you bring them to border, then you can catch mouse clicks on them. Well, there is such a thing - not all love keyboard shortcuts (and some like me just hate them). Always and You can miss and forget, but there are no hints. F1 as it is now - yes It would be better if it didn’t exist. What, it’s difficult to make the font smaller and have it all in one the screen fit. Is there a better way to sort for the blind?

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 13 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vla> Well, there is one thing - not everyone likes keyboard shortcuts (and some like me Vla> they just hate). You can always miss and forget, but tips Vla> - none. F1 in the form it is now - it would be better if it didn’t exist. Well, if you remember the specs of what it was like before (95-97), then basically everything is on keys and it was done. I think if it’s okay to emulate a platform, but not with those bells and whistles that are not needed at all... I looked through a bunch of emuls, I still don’t understand, where to cram so many functions??? Half of it is not there you use it at work... I'm not talking about games, but specifically if you do something... P.S. Everyone looks from their own bell tower... :)

From Andrey Alexandrovich Titov To All 13 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vla> even the spin guys made a drawing of the keyboard - they took the idea from me, and it’s not a pity Vla> let everyone do it, good ideas are never bad. Hmm, hmm... I remember the idea with the keyboard in various emulators long before EmuZWin :v2_rolley

From Vladimir Kladov To All 13 March 2006

Hello Black1980 By the way, all the keys were signed there - on spec. At least for BASIC-48 would hardly have been able to introduce anything if they were not signed 8-]. (It’s interesting, now you will need BASIC-48 code dial a little, in the unril - how will you do this - by touch? and in showman? even the spin guys made a drawing of the keyboard - they took the idea from me, and didn’t it’s a pity, let everyone do it, good ideas are never bad. Ugh! even in my Z is 4.5K in size and in Bacteria 3K in size there is a drawn keyboard). For many programs and games, the command letters were chosen very wisely - according to the first the letters of the English words that the commands stood for. This is not F11 or Alt+F8 any. Or were there some standards. Type QAOP(N/M/Space).

From Vladimir Kladov To All 13 March 2006

Hello Titus But no one thought to click on it with the mouse. And show pressed keys too. For a long time - maybe. But before you start making your own emulsion, Those that I saw had nothing in sight. Spectaculator, Real Spec (as it is) some kind of alternative but not keyboard), Gleck and Z80. So I reinvented it and improved without knowing anything about his predecessors. I can consider myself to be the first.

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 14 March 2006

Hello Surfin' Bird I have nothing against EmuZWin, quite the contrary :) He helps me with taps work. There’s just one thing I don’t understand, maybe off-topic, but maybe someone what he knows: When I turn on stereo sound in any emulator (ACB, ABC), one channel becomes very quiet, and sometimes you can’t hear it at all, you have to switch to mono mode... HOW to fix this problem???

From Surfin' Bird To All 14 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vladimir Kladov - RULES! :)

From Slavik Tretiak To All 14 March 2006

Hello Black1980 don't put stereo sound ;) but in general this is almost the way it should be (if ACB, then channel C will be quieter than the others, but in two columns). if it really becomes inaudible sometimes, then Sorry, I can’t recommend anything else but to go and throw out your petse ;) because I’ve never encountered anything like this (I don’t think anyone has felt this way either)

From Andrey Alexandrovich Titov To All 14 March 2006

Hello Surfin' Bird Sur> Vladimir Kladov - RULES! :) Rules, rules... :v2_tong2: I myself am using his emulsion for now, although with There is an accuracy of emulation of the problem: v2_cool: I come across it here and there. Even Pentagon multicolor is not accurate :v2_rolley

From Slavik Tretiak To All 14 March 2006

Hello, goodboy the beginning of parer can only be considered together with the beginning of int. Regarding Anril - all the multicolors I know are tailored to the Pentagon there work 100% correctly.

From goodboy To All 14 March 2006

Hello Titus Tit> Even the multicolor Pentagon is not accurate on Unreal the beginning of Paper is 17989, on EmuZWin - 17982 ??? http://www.worldofspectrum.org/rusfaq/index.html#21

From Vladimir Kladov To All 14 March 2006

Hello, goodboy Well, for example Rage - it’s coming. You can also adjust your parameters, and install as if forever, if you don’t like mine.

From Alexey Korotkov To All 15 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov What thread is the emulator, maybe GRM?

From Slavik Tretiak To All 15 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vla> 2. and where is the ULA “circuit”? Well, for the Pentagon I think... in the Pentagon scheme ;) presumably in the upper left part.

From Andrey Alexandrovich Titov To All 15 March 2006

Hello, Vladimir Kladov Vla> 1. There are also typos in diagrams Vla> 2. and where is the ULA “circuit”? There are typos in the diagrams, and in the documentation there is also a misunderstood operating principle schemes :v2_wink2:

From Andreas Kaiser To All 15 March 2006

Hello Black1980 Bla> If you're talking about Real, then please rub your nose in, because no matter how much you've dug Bla> I didn’t find it, I don’t argue that there is TZX, but tap is not there... No question. Go to Alt+F7 in Tape Options, there select Open tape for saving, the Save tape file window appears, in it you need to enter the file name (well, of course select the directory) and with the arrow keys "right" or "left" select the recording format - TAP, WAV, CSW or TZX (it is selected by default). Now everything you record from the emulator via SAVE will be saved in this file. Just don’t forget to disconnect it later (again according to Alt+F7). Real Spectrum version 0.97.31, downloaded from VT.

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 15 March 2006

Hello Sinus Sin> I can’t recommend anything else but to go and throw out your petse Sin> because I’ve never encountered anyone like this Well, if you haven’t met someone like this, then why immediately say what to throw away??? Not you know, you don’t know... I’m in mysteries myself, to be honest, it worked before... ice> RS can. Choosing between TZX and TAP. If you're talking about Real, then please point your nose at me, because no matter how much I dug I couldn't find it, I don’t argue that there is TZX, but tap is not there...

The point is that you should not unsubscribe to film, namely to save the program that is currently running... EmuZWin allows you to do the following, for example, we launched a demo in We can simply unsubscribe any part in the File menu in tap format... Exactly This is what I need from the emulator, I just don’t know how to convert it into tap any other way....

From Andreas Kaiser To All 16 March 2006

Hello Black1980 Bla> Thank you very much, but I know this. The point is that you don't need Bla> write to the tape, namely save the program that is currently Bla> the moment is working... Bla> EmuZWin allows you to do the following, for example we launched Bla> demo, in any part we can simply unsubscribe from the File menu Bla> tap format... This is exactly what I need from the emulator, just no other way Bla> I know how to convert it to tap.... You can save it in SNA and then add a loader (like on worldofspectrum.org there are similar utilities). Why are you doing this?

From Vladimir Kladov To All 16 March 2006

Hello icebear Then I did the same in just tap. But first I took a snapshot. I can explain why. In one good emulsion that I have been using for a long time "instead of real" for testing the processor (nothing funny) - Spectaculator as soon as you load a snapshot, it immediately goes into model mode, which This is the only type of snapshot that is involved. And with tap - on the contrary, you can, first choose a model and then load. So I managed to drive multicolors, which I had them in the form of snapshots. And your tests. Although of course this The “snapshot” doesn’t always manage to load later. Memory sometimes gets spoiled. Well or stack if it was in the screen or ROM area.

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 17 March 2006

Hello icebear ice> Why are you doing this? I have a Spectrum emulator on my mobile, it understands (works fine) only taps, I make something like a small player with music on it, so I have to get by this way.

From Andreas Kaiser To All 17 March 2006

Hello Black1980 Bla> I have a Spectrum emulator on my mobile, it understands (ok Bla> works) only taps, I make it like a small player with music on Bla> it, so we have to make do this way. Non-standard use of TAP :) That's why I didn't understand you. Try it anyway utilities that attach loaders to SNA files, suddenly you will add to your collection on mobile For example Z802TZX (ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/tools/pc/Z802TZXv12.zip), which Available for Windows (link provided), Amiga and Linux.

From Dmitry Kuzmin To All 26 March 2006

Hello icebear ice> Still, try utilities that attach bootloaders to SNA files, suddenly ice> you will add to the collection on your mobile. Regular software is quite enough... :) ice> Non-standard application of TAP That's why I didn't understand you. So, what is there to understand... Well, the modular emulsion doesn’t want to work with others formats, it just doesn’t even load them (if you make them yourself, which are from the Internet I download everything, it loads fine), so I have to get smart.. :)

From Sergey Bilibin To All 21 February 2007

Hello Trantor I use 3 Spectrum emulators. 1. Klive 1.1 - easy to use, accurate and high quality. 2. ZX Spin - a beautiful and high-quality emulator with a lot of different bells and whistles, starting from version 0.61 it supports TR DOS (although I don’t care about it :)) 3. showman. I mainly use it to watch demos or RZX
