Press RESET immediately, All! There is a pdf, which, as usual, is designed for printing on A4 sheets. In order to save paper and make it easier to use the resulting Talmud I would like to print out the pdf, two pages per sheet. That is, it is necessary Reduce each page by half, rotate it 90 degrees, and combine two pages into one sheet. I know it can be done something like this: pdftopbm | netpbm(shrink-rotate-glue) | pbm2ps | lpr. I don't like this idea of converting to a raster and back... Can anyone offer a more direct solution?

Installs the virtual printer driver and intercepts calls to it. A lot of things can happen, including placement of several pages on one sheet. Weighs about three megabyte (version 4.7.6). [REAL ZX]
