Hello All! === Home Windows Clipboard === Programming Who is the best programmer in the world?... 18:42 Those who constantly encounter low-quality software products, of course, they will say that “the best programmer is a dead programmer” :), however, if we approach the issue with all seriousness, then the recent Vancouver international competition for the best university programming team (sponsored by IBM Corporation) showed that our, Russian programmers are stronger than ever - for the second year in a row the team St. Petersburg State University wins first place. In third place we also see Russian students, and also from St. Petersburg University - Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics. Well if take into account that 2,700 teams from 1,079 universities participated in the competition (70 countries are represented), it’s hard not to feel proud of our guys and their trainer.
