===================================================== ==== Hello, Alexej! I woke up here, looked, and Alexej Antipov 22 Sep 01 23:48 had already written All about "Nuts & Bolts vs Norton Utilites": AA> Has anyone used Nuts & Bolts? Which ones does he have? AA> advantages AA> and disadvantages over Norton Utilites, and what are the individual parts AA> is it preferable to install from one package, and which from another? I don’t know what’s better, but I gave it up after one small troubles: running something from it under nt (imho disk check, definitely not I remember), I was surprised to find an unreadable disk.. After the “debriefing” turned out to be shifted FAT(fat16) by two sectors, i.e. cured by editing one byte, but this situation spoiled my nerves. After that I took it down out of sin away and have a mistrust of such packages. By the way, since some time I try to follow the advice of one smart person as much as possible use standard system utilities (although they are often very inconvenient :(, but the simpler, the more reliable ;)), then there will be less hassle. It is unknown where else errors like a glitch in partition magic will appear when there is a very high probability of losing data from hpfs partitions, after processing them by this program.Well, as they say, Goodbye. 27 Sep 01
