Is it possible to create an OS for PC that emulates the work of a spec?

Hello, CHRV what exactly are you doing here... As far as I know, you can build a Live distribution of some lightweight FreeBSD or Linux... remove unnecessary things, X's there... instead of the same X's - attach a ZX emulator... so that it can load from a floppy disk (configure)... and that's it! :) Of course, I’m not very good at Linux, but it seems to me that this is more than possible - LiveCD :)
