Hello All!
I caught a pretty good subject. For a whole week (even more) I gave up on everything and sat during the day and
at night with the computer. It all started with the fact that Windows began to glitch. After
reinstallation, everything worked fine for a while, then glitches appeared
again. The main one is a wibdows registry error, etc., etc. Checked the screw
Scandisk - it turned out that the fat table was full of errors. I copied all the information to
Another screw, I formatted my own. Then I copied everything back, but on startup
programs it turned out that my files were broken...
Here begins the second stage of my understanding of the subject. When comparing files on
hard drive 1 and hard drive 2 (from which this file was just copied)
It turned out that the contents of the files are slightly different. And a little bit: out of 128
a megabyte, for example, is about 20-30 bytes. Moreover, all the differences were located at the address
xxxxxEE0-xxxxxFFF. The senior rank has always been different. Changed memory. The same. I changed the cord from ATA-66 to ATA-33. The same. Changed the processor. Removed
acceleration speed (from 713 to native 633) is the same. Changed the board to
identical (with a different, earlier BIOS version) - the same thing! Checked on
different hard drives, with Millenium and 98 operating systems - the same garbage. Got everything out
cards...
The third stage of awareness. It turned out that if you remove all USB devices, then
the glitch stops. However, only for a while. It doesn’t matter if it’s installedWhether there is a device driver - the main thing is that the cord is inserted into a working device.
When installing a PCI USB card, the same garbage...
In general, this is what I came to: USB cannot live on my computer. If you delete
USB device driver from Windows - then the glitches stop completely. True, not
I understand how the USB scanner worked for about 3 months: maybe the data
spoiled and I didn’t notice it? Now I have a general feeling that USB is buggy
everyone has. It's just that no one notices it...
P.S. I'll have to upgrade the board...
