Fwd: LYX, linux & windows - compatibility issues...

Press RESET immediately, All! Downloaded LyX for windows. He refuses to open my files! says "conversion script failed", and nothing more. What script, what is it? failed? "Invalid error" style message... Files created This version of LyX opens in Linux, but there are N errors (not many) and a warning is issued about something unsupported there. Linux LyX has version 1.1, and Windows version is 1.3. Yes, if in the *.lyx file itself Change 1.1 to 1.3, then everything opens in Windows. Previously, I didn’t understand why I needed 3 different versions of pytnon on Linux, and 4 versions of tcl/tk. Windows is starting to gain the upper hand in this matter too... in the directory with lyx there is the next version of python and perl. Why I need a dozen different versions of pearls that come with every program for the sake of a kilobyte script? :-( And worst of all, it is not described anywhere how to properly run Windows LyX install. I just unpacked the archive. But, by the way, in "Program Files" it refuses to work! Probably because of the space. Maybe mistakes Is the script running related to an incorrect installation? Yes, version Windows LyX, the one that does not require an X server, is based on QT. Version 1.3 for debian does not seem to exist yet. Although I don't was particularly interested. But I still want to drag the file between files different versions. :-( I haven’t installed MikTEX yet, I wonder if it’s even available /with Russian language/will it work? And where can I get ispell (included with lyx is aspell, but there is no dictionary for it, and for ispell I have a special one, "equipped" dictionary) and image magic for windows? PS, senders: how difficult it is to get a basic text message in Windows editor, like Microsoft Word... But I also wanted to ask how to convert html to lyx? - --- end of forward ---
