So buy or sell?
If you buy it, I’ll give them a brief review, as a person who every day
is engaged in their repair. ;)
Panasonic. Completely spoiled. ;( The current side-by-side devices suck: how
in terms of the quality of this assembly itself and (especially!) the plastics used, and in terms of
number of failures of electronics and mechanical components. Very often scanners burn and
thermal rulers. The cheapest models are KX-FT21 and KX-FT22. On thermal paper. Price -
~$160. However, if you handle such devices gently and carefully, ensure
90% of the missing screws, then they can work... The rest of the devices are from
I’m simply not considering the new line, based on your stated requirements.
Including those working on regular A4 paper. This is the same feces, only with
a lot of bells and whistles. If possible, I recommend looking for it
used Panasonic KX-F130 (only for 220V!, since there is also a modification for 120V).
The device is oak (good quality). With timely prevention (recommended
done in specialized workshops ;) - it works forever.Brother. Imho, despite my dislike for these devices ;), you can stop
choice on them. Models 515, 525, 575. Price ~ $190. With models 200 and 300
I’m not very familiar with the series. They work on thermal paper. There is an auto cut. Awesome
built-in diagnostic and configuration tools (available through the service menu).
Devices of this series, as well as others from this company, MUST be regularly (at least
once every six months) give the paper transportation unit for preventive maintenance,
auto cropper, scanner. Otherwise, a classic glitch of these devices is possible -
winding the paper onto the rubber transport shaft. Removed painlessly
only in special workshops, since the assembly is very difficult to disassemble/sideways and
subsequent adjustment. Again, with careful operation - the device
no problem.
Canon. Not considered. Since lately it’s also gone bad (got bad).
It produces mainly faxes that work on regular A4 paper and use
inkjet
printing method (inkjet printer). The only '+' is a scanner with high
permission. Very often there is a problem with the pulse dialing unit
in these devices, even completely new ones. Very inconvenient menu and control panel.
EP> In the price lists there are no faxes at all.
Don't look at those prices. ;)

I don't think so. EP> Sincerely, Evgeniy.
